Default variable valve timing

is it true the 06 models have vvt and if so how noticible is it and can you make other models z's have it

All three fiddy Z's have variable valve timing on the intake cams, and '05+ models with the 300hp engine have it on intake AND exhaust cams. It is not as noticeable as Honda's V-tec or Toyota's vvt, but you can feel it @ 4k rpm.

so i lack them on exhaust cams correct, is it even worth trying to do something like that, or just get cams

Its not as noticible but thats because the car also has VTC gearing. You can hear the exhaust note suddenly change and the car pulls harder at around 3700. Thats also when most exhausts begin to rasp. (MUST be correlated)

a better question might be, does it make the 06's any faster? and is it worth even trying to equip your Z with it?

would an intake on the new models that have valve timing make the sound of valve timing louder like the honda v-tecs?
