Am I the only one who seems to be raced by dudes in trucks? People wanting to race, seldom happens to me, probably cuz I work so much but seems like more than half the times it happens, they are trucks that wanna see how they do against a Z.
I get people wanting to race at least once a week. Two days ago, a black G35 with some heavy-*** looking chrome and black rims tried to take me out. I smoked that dude - wasn't even close. When I slowed down to wait for him, his girlfriend looked pissed...lol

But this is what I think I know, lol: Feathering the clutch is that when you are at the line, you put in 1st gear and let the clutch looses to the point that your car almost die. And your gas pedal is feathering, also.
I thought I was right but I just wanted to make sure, this is what ask.com says, "feathering the clutch" is when you're doing the balancing act (like when you're holding the car on a hill).

When I think of feathering it to go fast, I just give it more gas while letting the clutch out, but still dont let the rpms get too high. I think the point here is that a lot of people dont feather when they try to go fast, they dump the clutch. If you can romp the gas and feather the clutch keeping the rpms where you want them, by the time the clutch is fully let out you'll be going, I would guess, 15-20 mph.
