Same boat. My mileage was due to that fact that i had a gf that lived 40 miles away. I've seen 27mpg.

after a week of driving through a mixture of light traffic and no traffic, through town and residential. my mpg is almost always 20 mpg. pretty good. my tsx with the same driving got like 18. but that's probably cause i had to rev it high to get moderate acceleration out of the 4 banger.

 

the milage you guys are getting sucks....
my TT Z @ 15 psi averages over 26mpg highway and just shy of 17 mpg around town. That is not to say that a good flogging won't net me around 12 mpg. In general though 17/26 is damn respectable

 

I seem to be getting 16.5 city. I only live 5 minutes away from where I work and every place I need to get to is a 15 minute drive across down with stop lights

The manual says you can shift into 6th as low as 35mph. It seems like I'm lugging the engine by doing that. It just doesn't seem right because I tend to mash the gas pedal more in such low RPMs... would that cause my mileage to go down overall?
