am I the only person that this seems odd to? so what kayfunk is saying is that the buyer should have known the exhaust had a leak right away from hearing it, and yet kayfunk claims he had NO KNOWLEDGE of the exhaust being in bad condition after having it on his car for however many days/months/years he did... interesting....

 

its funny because his mechanic just told me it was a gasket, thats why i told him i would just replace it when i got home. look at your forsale thread you said it was to loud for you, lol the exhaust leak is louder than the exhaust

i'd have to say that based off of what i've read so far, it seems like the shop/mechanic was probably in on this deal. i could be wrong, but it seems pretty shady that they wouldn't mention anything to you about the condition of the exhaust when they were about to install it regardless of whether the flange was cracked then or not, the thing still needed chicken wire to be installed safely. where is the owner of the shop that he claimed would be posting in here? i dont think that shop will be seeing many z's or g's coming through there from these boards in the future.

either way, this idiot's credibility is ruined as it should be. he had every opportunity to make this right and decided to continue taking the low road. i hope you get your money back from the cc company or he spends the $700 on some business ethics classes.

funny thing is gheyfunk told me in person that exhaust was full ti and he bought it bc it sounds like the stock exhaust but gained 20whp over stock. he also insisted it was a cat back and from my research it is y pipe back. feel free to correct me if i am wrong. i could go on with his "illinformed" comments but ill leave it at that.

that's probably the dumbest thing i've ever heard. Anthony always says his car is like a brick in the wind. He always makes fun of how his car is fat/slow/and has no aerodynamics. Maybe he meant his is more aerodynamic than YOUR car because YOU'RE in it, and you could block a wind tunnel.
