hey why not go to this website and do something cool like these guys? It should be under 100 dollars.
http://www.sfu.ca/~tychueh/rice/
and to people saying buy lug nuts in previous posts, don't buy them. You don't have any need for them as you have stock wheels.
Have fun and get creative by taking a look at that above website I just posted. Now your possibilities are almost infinite!

The OP is in Florida. He will never see weather like we've had the past couple of weeks. I think his folks made a mistake buying that car for him to drive, but they know the kid much better than we ever will. So far, he sounds more mature than most and I have yet to see him claim that he deserves it, just that he appreciates it. He will probably do just fine.

Only read the first 5 pages but...
Bad joke about that's what insurance is for - some of us who have been around the forums for a while know that that is what the undertaker is for, and we don't find it all that funny.
Yes, we might have all accepted a car like the 350 at age 15, but almost none of us who have kids your age would buy them one. I won't even let my two drive mine and one of them is 19+ with a perfect driving record. In a 1995 Honda.
$100 won't buy much so don't insult the looks of a pretty good design and eff it all up. We all appreciate tasteful mods, and maybe even some over the top mods, but not cheap stuff. We take that **** personally and some will call you out on it.
As someone posted earlier, don't let your friends drive it, they will try to impress both themselves and you and **** both of you up while doing it. Has nothing to do with the value or cost of the car, has to do with 240 RWHP and all the kids these days are used to 100 FWHP. That goes for you too. Notice I said 240 RWHP - that is what you have - still double most of your friends cars so don't you drive it like you are Michael Schumacher either.
Some of us had 240's back in the day and live to talk about it. Hope you can do the same when the all electric Z is the hot car 20 years from now. Be responsible and prove all of us old bastards wrong - and if there is a Z club in your area, join it. Just remember the car has much more capabilities than the average loose nut nut behind the wheel.
There - that's my "mid-life crisis speech". Enjoy your ride, you're a lucky kid. I hope.

Best Mod...
Someone else mentioned the HPDE. I'd suggest that you check out some local autocross events in your area. You will have a lot of fun and improve your driving skill. Autocross is a safe and fun way to push you and your car to it's handling limits and beyond. Take your Dad, he'll have a blast. I'm sure there are lots of options in your area, here is one that I found with a quick search.

You in Southlake too? I drive past Carroll Senior High every morning - in the parking lot is a new Vette, various BMW's, Infiniti's, Land Rovers, etc, etc. A $10k car is not considered expensive in many areas...
Although I wish the guy w/the Lamborghini (NOT in high school) would have picked a different color than Lime Green....

I hope you really feel this way. Do yourself a favor and don't drive the car hard. It's not just simply having insurance cover the car if you crash it. If you get hurt, trust me life changes.
I thought I was old enough to get a Sport bike (CBR600) and I crashed it at the race track and three years later I'm off work again waiting on my 7th surgery, I just turned 32. It's not simply a financial thing, you could get seriously hurt. The car is RWD and has lots of power. That spells trouble for an inexperienced driver, even experienced drivers get hurt. My life is seriously compromised now as a result of that crash and all the trouble I am now having with my leg. Getting hurt in an accident can last a long time and really changes your life.
With motorcycles the saying is not IF you go down, but WHEN you go down. That car is exactly the same for you. Just make sure you drive it easy and don't get over your head. I know you "think" you can handle it but take a look at your friends, do you think they could all handle a near 300hp RWD car? It's almost laughable right? Well that sorta applies to you as well.
Just take care...

Coming from a 23 year old who has owned way too many cars on his own accord, it really does depend on the person. I had a job since I was 15 and found the best deals on cars that appealed to me. Everything modified or fixed on them was done by me, since I didn't have much money to pay a shop. If it was above me, such as a blown motor, sell the car and start over. I learned a lot over the years.
My friend's younger brother is a "football star" in high school and the father worships him. My friend had to pay for his car, while the younger brother was given a modified Evo for his 16th birthday. Yes it is totalled, and yes they bought him another one. He will never appreciate any of it.
I say give this kid a chance, he hasn't sounded like an idiot yet, we've given him advice. Now it's up to him to listen to it or not.

im 17 with an 06 z, but dam bro your 15 spending $100 of your xmas money on trying to mod your car! ive been working since i was 15 and am paying for my car and insurance, the only mod ive done is the s2k antenna, k&n drop in and just recently changed my rotors and pads myself. ive had the car for about 10 months. Get a job save some money and mod your car with some taste and not with some cheap stuff
