Exclamation The #1 z is being auctioned!

I was just doing my usual z lookaround for the day and when i went to the nissan site (nissandriven.com) the fist thing that caught my eye was the pic of the z emblen with "Auction" writen right by it. Naturaly i was intrigued so i clicke don teh little pic and this is was i came up with:

What's better than #1? The first new Z®, VIN#000001.
The chance of a lifetime to own the definitive original.

So i suggest all of you check this out (allthough most of you guys already have one coming :P )

Question is VIN T000350 anything

I see VIN T000001 is going for over 61K now. I have T000350. Anybody think it can fetch big bucks like 001?

I wanted to thank Nub for informing me about this event as I wasn't aware of it to "search for it" in the forum. I've been following the 350Z and read this board for a while so I'm not exactly new to the scene. Now I know its on the Nissan's web site and on their press release. However, messages fly so fast on this board that I cannot follow it 24/7 like InternetAbyss, VQRacer, Dr Bonz and of course countless other Z Enthusiasts on this board.

I think putting "newbie" posts down and then other users shoving it down their throat is uncalled for, but of course this is your board and I'm only a guest so u may differ. You could've let it go and let it die down like the countless other posts. Posting a reply will only move it back up.

I found the information helpful to me as I missed the pre-order deadline (could only pay half of the car at the time) and am interested in a Z now. But of course the auction as it stands is a lot more than I can spend. In any case I would've probably missed this if Nub didn't post this message so thanks again Nub!

I currently have a Mustang Cobra ('01) and I want to get out of the dark side and join the rebels. Can someone who has driven a Z and a Mustang Cobra give me a detailed comparison between the two?

Thanks folks.

Let's not get TOOO sensitive around here. I hardly think that posting
"Old news around here guys, but thanks!"
qualifies as shoving the newbie posts "down their throat." Nub made some jokes about being a newbie, and people responded in kind, but I didn't see a HINT of maliciousness in anybody's posts.

Z4ME: Sorry to have offended you but if you think that our responses were rough, you wouldn't last 2 posts over at zcar! They are merciless with Newbs.

I really don't think anyone posted anything really that bad. We here at my350.com pride ourselves on how we treat all (veterans and newbs) with respect and for the most part, flame-free. We do a lot of joking here but I guess it isn't for everyone. Again, sorry. No ill-will intended.
