No, I have a good interest rate on both. Why pay cash?

Since you missed my point, let me spell it out for you. Taking on that much debt when your income is so low and bragging about it is stupid. Debt to income ratio.

I talk $hit because I don't like you, it has nothing to do with my degrees. Which why are you bringing up anyway? You butt hurt because you're getting some weaksauce easy degree that a trained monkey could get? I would expect a little higher than a 3.2 with a bull $hit degree.

I'm going to see Korn this weekend at Myrtle beach.
I got the loan because I put a huge down payment on the car that's why, and my Z is not stock lol I've already put about 7K into it... Borla exhaust, injen CAI, INGS body kit, Dvd nav deck, subs, dynamat, all 4 speakers and tweeters... and more to come once I get the money.

EDIT: what's wrong with having a stock Z anyways? it's beautiful car...

I don't see $7k there.

No, I pay $120/mo for 2 cars without burdening my parents, because I'm an adult.

How does a senior in high school come up with a huge down payment? Wow, thats a truly impressive mod list.I don't see 7K worth, unless all of your speakers are Focal Utopias. I couldn't imagine having that much in mods on my Z. You are correct in saying that I do pay more than that , but at least I'm not a liability to my Dad.

I don't like you too much either. I was kind enough to answer your button question in the other thread, though

The $7K you put into it is now worth about $2k, maybe less. The "huge" down payment probably made you even up on the debt versus asset of the car itself. The major point here is your debt-to-income ratio as mentioned above makes you a less than ideal candidate for the Z. But hey, it's your money.

Ok buddy don't forget your 26 and I'm 19, I'm sure when I'm 26 I will have my own policy as well, how is it burdening your parents? Your telling me that your parents can't call the insurance company and give them a vin number? and then you can just pay them for the year upfront? I don't see how it's burdening.

If I was to insure my car on my own at 19 it would be about 6-7 grand why would I want to pay that when I can pay 1000 a year

That's good for you, do I give a chit?

And my dad doesn't consider his 19 year old son a "Liability" I dropped out in my senior year to run his business when he was in the hospital and went back a year later to finish highschool and still worked, maybe if you did that for your dad he wouldn't consider you a liability and would want to help you out.

You're the one that said "I bet even you 40 year olds don't pay that", not me.

Wow...you have no clue how insurance works. The incident goes on their record and affects their insurance. If you hit someone, THEIR policy is affected, not yours. If you get speeding tickets, THEIR insurance goes up, not theirs. If you get a DUI, their insurance is affected, not yours. They have to worry about collecting money from you.

That is like asking how paying your parents rent is any different from living in your own house.

That's the ****ing point that you don't seem to get. You're still sucking from your parents teet and you're here trying to brag about how you have it made. Go be a responsible adult, then come back here and brag to us about how amazingly awesome you are. Untill then, save that **** for MTV Teen Cribs.

So your dad made your huge down payment by overpaying you, just like 60 an hour's mom. Check. My dad was smart enough not to put a kid on his insurance. Ever heard of a lawsuit and that their insurance will be affected? My parents helped me a lot, but they also taught me responsibility and didn't make everything easy for me and I applaud them for that.

The only thing that would affect him is if I got into an accident because it happened while I was on his policy, tickets would make my rate to be on the policy go up, He can always remove me from the policy and pay just for him, that's how it works here. Yeah I'm sucking from my dads teet because I'm on his insurance policy, your right

What does a lawsuit have to do with this?

Do you honestly believe that if you are out showing your a$$ in your incredibly fast(intake and exhaust, right) Z and you have a collision with someone and it results in injuries and damages that exceed your policy that they cant go after your parents personal assets? It is their policy. Punitive damages can get really high.

thank god someone else knows how insurance works. With it being on a commercial policy, the business can be sued.

My wise father taught me as he was telling me "no way I'm putting you on my insurance" when I was Colinoscopys age.
