rumor has it there are a few floating around with the kangaroos.
Replaced with the B-1 now that's even more bad @ss. Those things will obliterate everything before they know it's there. It's frightening how much technology that thing has.

You and I have a lot in common. Except my parents worked on the F111's and I worked on the C141B. Great planes the both of them, to bad they are retired.

Oh and the B1 is no doubt bada$$, first plane I marshaled in when I was in Tech school up at Wichita Falls. But it seems to me B1's are always broke for hydraulics or electrical.

Is it just me or does anyone think that that zzzboy has not read back though the old posts in this thread?
If his reading comprehension skills match up with his writing skills, it wouldn't matter.

No you didn't. Unless you got a busted Z for a couple grand, you didn't pay for it yourself. You would need to have $15k in cash for a decent car. At 16, you didn't have $15k. Not even if you own a corporashun. Which means your parents bought it for you or at LEAST co-signed on your loan. No 16 year old gets approved for a car loan without a co-signer. That also leaves insurance to be discussed. If you really did spend all this money on your own, you would be insanely car poor before you even got out of high school.

Worst case scenario; you're lying out your ***. Best case scenario; you're a dumbass.

Not sure if this makes a difference but I have a 2005 Base Z that I picked up for 11k and I actually did pay for it though my situation isn't what I would say is "normal".

Got into a car accident when I was little (some insurance-less Jew side swiped me when I was crossing a street). My family sued his *** and got some money that they dumped into a CD for me to use one day for college. When college came around, I got a full-ride via the Air Force so that money wasn't needed. I figured I'd be an engineer because it was cool so my social life and happiness went down the drain... bought me a Z help fix that.

Now I'm in the AF and they're taking care of me really well. Couldn't have made a better decision and I can't wait until I finish training and go AD.

Will probably get flamed but I was a bit spoiled. I wanted a z since i was a wee tot. Seen it back in 2002 and fell in love with it. so my journey began

2005 Acura TL (was given to me in 2006 by parents as first car)
2006 Altima SE-R (also given in 2007, I just paid insurance)
2007 VW GTI (Bought myself after bmt&tech school in 2011)
2003 Zed, paid in full for $13k a few weeks ago.

So now i just have the gti and the z. not a long list but decent vehicles.

I am 18 now and had my Z for about 3 months. I too worked to save up for my 2005 MT Z with 110000 miles on it lol. I do not think it is that hard to believe. I made about 10k within 9 months by tutoring for about $35/hour. If you are smart, I dont see why even a teen could earn 10-15k by themselves. Granted I only paid $8600 for mine and my parents said they would take care of insurance if I pay for gas... but still I think its possible for a teen to earn that much money these days.

Yea, but it was what I could afford lol. I figured I could slowly earn some more money to upgrade to an aftermarket LSD and hid kits (currently installed) and traction control is not that big of a deal for me neither is cruise control... I dont need a computer to drive me car under the speed limit

I am 18 in Canada we get our L's at 16 so I just borrowed my parents cars...we get our Ns at 17 where I got my

01 mustang. after that I worked for a year before I bought my 04 z this year.

If a kid wants a car and they work for it why the hell not? if your parents are buying it do you really appreciate the car?

learned to drive stick on an old *** altima. then a shitty truck. when i finally turned 16 i got a manual tiburon. old man crashed me and wrecked my car. I am almost 18 and i just got a 350z manual... Found it for 10k because the guy that sold it was in need of money. Its a fun little car. most of the time im gettibg passed becausr i just love cruizing and squishing as many mpg out the car as I can. Cant text or call some one when im driving because manual requires most of your attention. I have never gotten a ticket or an accident where i was at fault. not everyone is your backwards hat wearing douche... Im going to sell it this end of summer because i need the money to college. I JUST WANTED A LITTLE TASTE BEFORE I WENT OFF TO COLLEGE THATS ALL.

You may not be a backwards hat wearing douche, but you really really could use some tutoring in the English language.

This thread feels similar to bashing a child's mouth with a cinder block.
Surprised this thing is free of locks.
