2003 350z - Base model (traded for):
2003 Toyota Tacoma (Sold and got):
Current: 2003 350z - Touring w/ Greddy Twin Turbo

I'm 17 right now and worked out a deal with my dad right after I turned 16 that if I could keep my good grades and pay for half of the car then I could get whatever car I wanted. Needless to say, I couldn't go with anything else other then a Z

Well... for one, I am 18. I have been driving since I was 14 (illegally, badass) and my passion is for cars. Pulling 40 hours a week at Valvoline, full-time student (1 year of college already done), and I live on my own. And yet, I still can afford my Z. I'll post pictures later, perhaps make a little story about my situation?

16 years old: Mitsubishi Outlander (Parents let me drive theirs)
17 years old: Ford Focus (I paid for)
18 years old: 2003 Nissan 350z (I paid for)

I agree with many of you, I hate when people claim to have bought their car, yet their parents bought it. I see this crap every single day. I can honestly say I'm not your typical 18 year old.

I've put on a few upgrades by myself:
K&N Cold Air Intake
New Rotors
New Sway Bar
Nismo Exhaust (So beautiful)
2 12inch Pioneer subs with Pioneer head unit (First time having a touch-screen, couldn't be happier)

So, my point is, not all teenagers get their stuff paid for. Some have to actually work for their ****

Can a typical teenager pay for a 350z in cash? I don't think so.

This guy knows what's up. Hard work, long shifts, and a hell of a lot of saving.

Default Teens on the forum

I've been searching around a lot today on the forum and every once in a while i come across where somebody gets pissed because a teen is posting or asking "stupid questions". I have a question for yall: How do all of you HONESTLY feel about having teens on the forum?

I am 17 and got my first Z right after I turned 16. I found an 03 base model on craigslist that the guy had to sell. I showed my parents and they decided to buy it for me for Christmas (got it at a steal). I kept the car for a year and a half and during that time period, I did some small mods (exhaust, intake, wheels, tint, ...) About a month ago I traded the car for a Tacoma I found on craigslist. I sold the Tacoma and bought an 03 Touring Greddy Twin Turbo Z and pocketed $2500. My point in telling you all this is that I'm not stupid about car's or specifically Z's. Car's is what I love. I want to earn you guy's respect but at the same time I don't want to be looked at as "the average punk teen in a sports car".

Just a thought, would like to know yall's opinion. Thanks!
