I don't really mind teen on these forums, they get the chance to learn things instead of paying others to do it. However, one thing I REALLY REALLY hate about young people with z's is the transactions. Almost every single person I have sold things to are teens/college kids. They waste so much time flaking on you it is ridiculous. The people who end up sticking to their word and showing up on time are the older crowd.

I hear see all types of questions being bashed on without the mention of the posters age. A dumb question is a dumb question, period. Youre also being paranoid. Give it a few years and grow up some, and eventually you wont be looked at in this way. Its life.

My problem is the younger don't have the patience to search, but instead demand answers immediately. What I learned in my early years browsing car forums, is do more reading and less posting. If the car has been out for a couple years, it's more likely than not someone already asked the question.

The way i see it is who cares. Im about to be 21 so i guess I'm not a teen anymore but when i was i never found myself making stupid posts or flaking on deals i was quite the opposite. Theres just as many older people who make useless posts or do dumb things. I would judge people by what they say or do on here, not by their age.

Did you read the rest of what i said? Guess not.. and here we are talking about teens not reading lol. If you would have read what I said then you'd know that I paid for my second Z with cash after selling my first one and working my butt off. And don't have respect just because you weren't lucky enough to have the same thing given to you

I am 17 and got my first Z right after I turned 16. I found an 03 base model on craigslist that the guy had to sell. I showed my parents and they decided to buy it for me for Christmas (got it at a steal). I kept the car for a year and a half and during that time period, I did some small mods (exhaust, intake, wheels, tint, ...) About a month ago I traded the car for a Tacoma I found on craigslist. I sold the Tacoma and bought an 03 Touring Greddy Twin Turbo Z and pocketed $2500. My point in telling you all this is that I'm not stupid about car's or specifically Z's. Car's is what I love. I want to earn you guy's respect but at the same time I don't want to be looked at as "the average punk teen in a sports car".

Just a thought, would like to know yall's opinion. Thanks!

Why do you care about that? If you're not the "the average punk teen in a sports car" then just don't do what they do.

Stupidest post I've seen, who asks for respect on forums, LOL.

If it's one thing you should learn is that people don't give a s**t

1998 Intergra
1997 Ford Ranger
1998 Ford Ranger 4x4
2000 Grand Cherokee
2004 Honda Civic
2002 CL TypeS
1998 Celica
2006 Saturn Ion
2006 Liberty
2006 TJ Rubicon
2010 JK Unlimited Rubicon
2004 Jag X Type AWD
2004 Jag XK
2011 G37
2011 370Z

Those are just in the past 8 years, going back further is just too much for my feeble mind. I bought my first truck back in 79. I tend to go through a lot of vehicles just to "try" them out. I also rent a lot of different vehicles for my job. It's nice to get out there and test drive different vehicles as well. The wife and I test drove for well over 2 years before buying the Z and G. Just recently I made my stable go down to just the Z the G and the 4 door Rubicon.
