Adam has been paying me what seems like monthly repayments. there is about 2 more payments remaining before refund is compete.

I don't think he scammed anyone, but Z1 did get scammed themselves about a year and a half to 2 years ago. A whole bunch of credit card fraud crippled them.

 

That story was the biggest bunch of BS a vendor has ever claimed. Didn't believe a word of it, and it wasn't even credit card scams - Z1 claimed the CC processing company shafted them and tied up their funds. As a business owner who processes over 1000 transactions a year, their story made absolutely no sense.

 

Although I cannot speak to other's issues with Adam/Z1, I have ordered 2 sets of rotors, a Nismo diff cover, and a Quaife differential over the past few months with no issues. The diff cover took a while because it was on back-order, but it finally arrived.

Adam is also helping me with an NA build and acting as a liaison to his engine builder. I have ordered pistons, rods, cams, etc., and all arrived with no problem.

 

I remember when that guy was posting here every day, all day. Why doesn't he post now? That would be intresting.

 

Cuz he knows he fails hard.

 

Years ago, I spoke to him a couple of times on the phone. Found him to be a dauche. Never did business with him.

 

He was always good to me... Ive spent thousands...

 

I'll take that back... still, didn't like how he talked on the phone.

Nothing heard from Z1, and I have sent a number of mails. Are any forum members still actively purchasing / in contact with them? Anybody know if they are still active as a business?

 

about 2yrs ago I orderd full n2 body kit from Z1 they took the money fast and ignored me for months. I had to get bank of america fraud dpt to get my money back.

 

Hi everyone, I have also made an order from Z1Auto (sadly) at 18.8.2011 and nothing from my items were ship to me, that´s really sad for me because I wrotte ADAM about 120 emails and nowadays he don´t respond to me.
I made an order for about 6.600 US dollars(of course i payed him). Finally in last mails he agreed with refund but when, nobody knows. I also thought that z1auto is a good shop that I can trust in, But now I know that was BIG MISTAKE.
ADAM is a really big LIAR, Hands off from Z1auto!!!!!!!!!!

 

They probably aren't around anymore. I wouldn't have waited 2 years to do anything though.

Site is still active so guess he is still around. Amazing......buyer beware!

 

Z1 auto is still active, so beware, Z1 motorsports in Georgia is a completely different company and they are excellent.

 

I have nothing against Z1motorsport! I have bought some parts from them and the service was excelent.
But be aware of Z1auto.com Thats Adam and co.!
Probably I lost my money but it is unfair that he took my money even that he knew his troubles, that´s really big ********.

 

this is one guy I really wish karma fully gets him. it came close to claiming him but didn't quite finish he job.

 

I am simply shocked he is still in business. In fact I am simply shocked that he is still alive! Apparently folks do absolutely no research before parting with their money. Has that place always been called Z1 Performance or was it Z1 Auto previously?
