Those who ordered off of Z1's website and were scammed should file complaints here...

http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

The feds deal with internet fraud schemes.

god damn it I really thought all those Z1 sites were actually one. I'm afraid I'm getting screwed over an OS Giken diff as we speak... if this is in fact the case it would be the first time I get scammed on the web in after processing thousands of transactions.

I wouldn't worry too much about scammers. that's wat chargebacks are for. jus be sure to use a reliable CC like AX and call it in earlier. don't play that benefit of a doubt game.

Even with Amex... after 90 days (iirc) they can't get your money back from vendors so stay within that time frame homie.

I waited over a year for an OS Giken diff from this place. Luckily I was fully refunded and kept all emails and receipts.

yeah well I always pay through paypal, but they didn't accept paypal or cc for international order (I'm in Canada), so I had to wire the money over.....

I was totally against that at first but then I remembered ordering over 4k in parts from them in the past. Well I thought so, till I found out Z1 Motorsport and Z1auto/performance are two different companies. Unfortunately, it's too late now and I guess I'm out of option. Hopefully, they either refund me or ship the damn thing.

They even gave me a fake tracking number lol....

Z1 Motorsports is indeed a great company, ordered from them a bunch of times and they're spot on with service and products. Have some occasional great holiday sales too

I'm surprised about this Z1 though I just had a mechanic friend of mine suggest it to me a few months ago but I'm loyal to my current shop, glad I didn't roll the dice and listen to him.

I notice this trend from another vendor doing the same scam that a lot of international buyers are being gyped.

Fck, this thread is a couple of years old and I'm surprise Z1 Performance is still pulling this ****. I wonder how many more international buyers are in the same boat as you

At first I waited a whole summer, because he kept saying they were on back order, but that's why it was on special. I couldn't find any bad reviews of this place until I had issues too. After I was told it'd be another month, I changed my order to a diff that would be in my hands by the end of the month. Needless to say it was miraculously on back order and a whole host of other excuses until he finally agreed to refund me. I filed a complaint with the BBB though, didn't know who else to go to.

Anyone get their money back? I am from Australia and drop over $14 USD on Adam. The excuse is always medical problems and we are yet to see any parts or even the money.

This order was paid for and arranged all last year. It is now March with nothing to show for it.

Any advice on where to complain to guys to demand a refund?

Quick update. I received the oem parts needed to install the OS giken diff in the 08 Z (bearings and input shafts I believe). Still don't know if I'll get the differential and OSG oil I ordered...

Gobsmack, he served me the same excuse. Back problems, he can't drive the distance to the nearest shipment drop off location...it goes on and on! Truly unbelievable!
