As a new owner of 3days of a 04 silverstone auto 350Z,i cant stop loving this car.The power,the looks,the feel,i hate to park it.Im lucky to have another car i use for work,dont feel safe parking this ride in the general puplic for 9 hours.Has anybody had trouble with jealous people hurting there Z? Should i be worried?

 

I had a jealous/road rage guy key my Z at the supermarket parking lot, but I caught him and it looks like he may be going to jail. If you do a search you can find other threads where people have had their cars parked somewhere and got keyed. But if you're a nice guy and don't park in sketchy places you'll be fine. Congrats on the Z!

I feel the same exact way. Especially with some folks on here posting pics of their damaged Z. I went so far as to take pictures of license plates with my webcam if they caused door dings. hahaha Don't worry about it. Things happen, and if there's so damage, insurance will most likely cover anything over $500.00.

My Z is put away for the winter, they use a lot of salt out here in the Wis. area, anyhow the other day as me and my buddy went out to breakfast and we were looking for a place to park in the restarant`s parking lot, there all by is self there set a Z Silverstone parked on the corner of the parking lot, pretty obious what the point was so I parked kind of next to this Z with plenty of distance between my truck and the Z but not enough room for another vehicle to squeeze in.
When we came out of the restaruant the car was gone.
I hope he or she got the idea,

I have a daily beater, but I find myself communting with the Z anyway if the weather is nice. Luckily where I work there is a parking structure which is only about half full and I am able to park in the same place every day taking up 2 full parking spots. There is normally no car within 50 feet of me. Door dings and haters are my mortal enemies!!!

 

just came back from christmass shopping, leaving my baby parked is the most scary thing i've done with the car. i parked at the far end of the lot, same everywhere i go, never take my car to work cuz im afraid of dings. and instead of parallel parking i know pay for a garage. talk about paranoid
oh yea and my mother is the one im afraid of parking close to.
