I have a 07' touring ZR.
Today, I installed some part at home,
and I figured out someone replaced my spare tire in the trunk.
I checked last winter the trunk, and
there was my 07 touring rim with new tire for a spare tire.
However, today I found there is used spare tire with "real" spare rim
instead of 07' touring rim..
It's so bad.
Within 5 months, I only went two shops.
1. local nissan dealer - check up all parts, I don't remember
my car stayed on night or not.
2. convertible top shop - replaced the top roof, so my car stayed there one night.

Should I call the police?
good thing is there are many fingerprint on the dirty spare tire.
However, I don't think the police will do like a CSI do...
Please help me!
What should I do?

The dealer probably has it. Your SOL and the cops will LOL at you.

A little late now to find out what happened.
What was your car in the dealer for?
Was it a service that involved removing the spare?
If so,could be they had other cars being serviced.
Spares hanging around.Threw the wrong one back in your car...?
Was the top shop a "reputable" place?Or a cheapo joint?
Possibly some guy lifted it there.
Check with the dealer

I think so.
got serviced for checking up all parts whatever in the car.
I don't know how the top shop is reputable,
but the guy was so kind..
local dealer was also so nice.
just don't wanna suspect anyone..
looks like I just need to give up here.

I did not know 07 touring models came with touring full size rims and new tires to match, man someone must have came all along the east coast and stole them all and replaced them with spare tire steelies. Man that guy must be a millionare now.

I'm don't see how a full size tire would fit back there.

My little donut steelie spare is a pretty snug fit.

Not sure if there's much you can do now. If I were you I would call or go up to the dealer and explain what happened, MAYBE you will get lucky...don't get your hopes up too high though.

As far asking the convertible shop, don't bother...they will deny it no matter what since it's been so long.

Went local dealer to ask about regular spare tire, and
the officer said,"the spare tire is usually just steel rim with tire
unless owner purchased."
So now I'm wondering my memory problem...
However, I remember When I replaced my rims to oem nismo rims(18"and 19"),
I was wondering if rear tire has something happen, but
my spare tire is 18'' how it works.. and my spare tire was so clean...

so I couldn't even ask about this.

I can hardly tell what you're saying, but you're welcome. Maybe you just thought you had a full size tire back there, I forget things worse than that on a daily basis.
