Hey im newer buyer to the Z family, i had to rebuild mine in my post.
My i have the BASIC 350z, like no cruise control. now im stumped by something.
I understamd that most 350z have a traction control.
But mine doesn't have an on/off button.
Does this mean, that .
A- it's always on?
B- it's always off?
C- gotta find the Fuse to take it off?
For some reason when i was testing her on the track. to get used to the car see how it handle's... it seems that when i went to go for a "drift" it drifted, but the car wanted its way... if that sound's correct. maybe its just me not being used to the way the ca handles atm.
Comming from being r32-r33 owner, and other car's.
not to sure. help me out guys

Not only that, but since it's a base model, you probably have an open differential, instead of a limited slip differential. Get an LSD if you want to drift with any sense of control and smoothness.
Higher trims of the 350z come with viscous LSDs, but ideally you should get a mechanical LSD.

Traction control is not on your particular model so you won't have to worry about it. And when you say when you went to "drift" but it drifted and had it's own way, it's your car probably under steered since our cars are step up to under steer rather than over steer. In other words, your Z is a little tricky to drift.

This thread delivers on the above swap: https://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-...z-3-538-a.html
It's true that the 350z comes slightly prone to understeering from the factory, but nothing that stiffer rear sway bars can't fix. Get the LSD first though.
