I have a 2004 350z Coupe, and this morning when I tried to start it up for school, it would just keep cranking, but would not start. Eventually, after about 5 minutes of trying, it started, but it sounded like a literal lawn mower. It sounded like the thing was running on 1 cylinder. white smoke cane out, but they could be because of the cold weather here in Texas. But not even 5 seconds later the car stalled. Mind you I drove the car once in the period of 3 days, so that maybe because why. But I connected my OBD scanner and these were the results. The current mileage on the car is 152,583.
Where did the smoke come from- engine or exhaust? If exhaust that's not good, possible head gasket problem. Check for coolant on oil dipstick and oil in radiator.
What has changed since the car ran well? Has it over-heated? Have you done any recent work?

Unfortunately the smoke is coming from the exhaust. Nothing has changed with the car. The 1 time I drove it was around the block so it was running for only 5 minutes. I have not done any recent work, besides new tires which was around 3 weeks ago. The car had overheated before due to a cracked radiator, but I got it replaced around 4 years ago. But the car ran at optimal temperature a couple of days ago.

You're honestly gonna have to do a little research on this. Simply posting "my car runs like crap" on the forum isn't going to generate a lot of accurate answers.
You ALWAYS have to ask yourself- What has changed since it ran well? The answer could be as simple as bad/low octane fuel. If you don't drive it much I'd suggest any Lucas fuel stabilizer to reduce any moisture you have in the tank. GL.
Hi Mitch. As others suggest, it could be the head gasket, but this usually exhibits symptoms over a longer period of time. You are experiencing failure suddenly. I'm guessing, but I think your problem points to a failing coil-pack. At least check that.

Found the problem! Faulty starter. Currently at the repair shop. Managed to get it started so I could drive it over there and be said faulty starter.
