350z and the City
Well the story goes like this, i snuck the Z, me and a friend into an Amtrack construction site, that just happeneds to over look the NYC skyline, i was looking for a better spot, but this is really the best we could find, hope you enjoy
*edit* sorry the quality isnt sharp as i would have liked, but they are scanned from 35mm not a Digy

hey, those are some really nice pictures. Would be better if the picture quality was better though. But still, the location was great, and the city is beautiful. Thanks for posting the pictures.

haha ya i know, there where these huge Constrution lights behind us, so not much i could do, concidering i wasn't really allowed to be there in the first place. As for the quality, my scanner sucks, but in life the pictures look sharp, i shot it on a Cannon Rebal 3000, at 200 speed film.

I didn't unserstand any of that except that you have a camera. I bought a Sony digital camera so that I could delete the crappy pitures I take right away instead of having to pay to develop a roll of film to get 3-4 good pictures.

Basically all i did was take the 495 in all the way, got off at the last exit, and got on Borden Ave.. took that as far west as i could, and then at the end of the road just sorta looked around.. I also went down 2nd street off 55th ave over there, but there wasn't much.. The location is inside some sort of MTA or Amtrack construction site, it was funny we drove right past 2 of NYCs finest and they didn't say anything. We found this huge open lot that was all dirt, and took the Z off roading.. it was great.
As for why i didn't use digital, i actually did, I used both, I'm an old school kind of picture guy, and i think that nothing beats a good 35mm shot. Granted ive taken some amazing pictures with my Digy, but when it comes to reliablity i still love a good 35mm. My Sony 2.1 meg-a-pix is good, but between sucking up batteries, and being able to take rapid shots, it just doesn't cut it.
Example, Bush came to Long Island, so i took the Z out and found a spot to get some pictures of the motorcade (spelling?) but i didn't dare use my Digital because it just can't take the rapid amount of shots my Cannon can. And when you need Shot after shot, nothing is better then a 35mm in my view
Well hope that answers some of your questions
Here is a Digital shot i took, and Photoshoped to B&W
