I did considered the S2000 but when I went to test drive it, I so much trouble squeezing in. Being 6'3" the only option for me was the 350Z.

Don't bother with the SKY either. I'm 6'3 and I can't fit in either one. What a load.

Although it still competes with the Z(purely statistical numbers), Honda was trying to accomplish something completely different here. That can really be seen in the number of vehicles produced and the price at which it was sold.
As far as a chick car, I simply cant agree with that. Mostly because I dont see enough of them and because I dont know how many times some girl has told me that my Z is "cute" and that they want one.

My fiancee` drives an s2k, and I drive the Z. I'm 6'7", my head is over the S's windshield, I can't even get in with the top up, and compared to a Z with even just basic bolt-ons like mine, the v-tec just can't touch the power in the VQ. Those are very personal reasons though haha. In the summertime, I love the occasional top-down Honda cruise, and I have to admit that NOTHING can touch the S's shifting...Makes my Z feel clunky and awkward

I came from an 04 S2000 and traded it in for my 06 Z. Id give you my $.02 however, after reading this thread, there is nothing i could say to differ from most the comments already made.

With that said. I love my 350Z but i Really miss my S2K.. Im in the market for one now. Just to take out once in a while.

They are both great cars with great points. One is not better than the other. It's mostly about personal preference anyways.

I sat in a S2000, but felt too enclosed. Haven't driven one though, so can't really comment. But I do like my 350Z 400hp+, and CA State Legal, so I guess I'll stay with it......

From a girls perspective,

#1) This is to the guy that said a girl can't handle a 6-speed manual, hi sweetie, are you ready to be schooled?
#2) It DOES depend on the driver's performance
#3) A guy can look good in both cars. They are both sport cars, so why would you care if other chicks drive it? It would only be gay if you own the cars but can't even rev match.

I had a yellow '01 s2k for about 3 years. Drive a '03 Z now for about 1 year. If I could, I would have both. Z for daily, S for the weekend cruising by the beach.

I also considered getting a S2K but got the Z instead
and I still consider getting the S2K
but im happy with my decision

i agree with what other people wrote
handling on the s2k is good
but i have no problem with the Z
also s2k are fun to drive
so i just ask to have some fun in a friends one =]
also i agree on redlining
it sucks to have to redline your car jus to get it to go
but its a honda, thats what you kinna expect
(and no im not a honda hater i love my hondas and nissans)
im jus trynna say the Z is a better daily driven car
and im happy with my decision
also i dont think a brand new s2k is worth the price it is

I do agree with this.. my friends say the same thing for a daily driver the s2000 is just not user friendly.

The Z also has more luggage space and more distinctive styling - I liked the S2k, but it was pretty bland. Oh yeah, the Z has a nicer ride as well.

I like both and ive looked at both but i took the Z over the s2k major props for such a small car. Great handling and good power. Z will beat it in a race but it takes the Z two more cylinders. Both are great cars.

I too am a former s2000 owner, it was a 2002. As far as fun it was very fun, handled like a go kart. But in typical Honda fashion, no low end power. The Z on the other hand doesnt handle like a brick, it is damn near as good as the s2k. I would never take the s2000 back after having the Z. The mid range and the low end are worth it, and since I added boost this thing is on another planet. NISMO FTW!

Uh I think he means its a chic car..not a chic magnet. Miata's, S2k's , mustang conv. would be cars that chics drive.

i can get more girls with a benz or bimmer

rx-8, s2k's, and z's can attract girls though

s2k's are more expensive and EXTREMELY small, i thought about it, but stopped because my dad would never aprrove of such a tiny car. Also, it's like the rx8, you have to rev pretty high to feel the power, feel like it's a waste of gas.

Not a Z owner yet(soon, been a hug fan since before the 350was even released)..I would never consider the s2000. There is one red one that I have seen twice since Sunday so it must be new to the area..driving around..huh

I can not wait til I get my Z and I know the s2k owner will look over wishing he had a Z lol.
