I have gone backed and looked.

your progression:
  • The 370z is not as fast as an HR (like 3 months ago)
  • The 370z is not any faster than the HR (the last couple months)
  • Currently: The 370z is not any faster than HR, only because it hasnt had a chance to be proven faster than the HR......although everybody agrees it will be faster than the HR......it just hasnt happend yet......So the HR is still faster..... For like 2 more weeks.....so nanny-nanny booboo.

You have been hating since day one, and now that the day of reckoning is upon you.....you are trying to change your view.

I wouldnt take issue with any of this if you hadnt been such a complete *** in the tone of the majority of your previous posts.

Sir I have not changed my view period. I have said from the beginning the 370z has yet to show any times that have been faster than the HR 350Z.

I am a complete *** because some people keep saying it's faster with no documented proof.

plus the 370z hasn't proved to be any better of a track car compared to a nismo 350z. (yea, i went there)

you honestly believe your going to run a 12.5 in a stock 370z?

nah, i gotta give the 370 a credit. I test-drove one and it felt a bit slower than my 350z with bolt ons and tune, but not too much. I would give the edge to my HR, but the 370z is impressive for what it is in a stock form. However, it just does not have the roar of the 350z, but it is a great car. I would own one for sure.

the 370z is going to be interesting when people really start to take mods to it. i think its going to be a great platform for some serious power. i cant wait to see. after my test drive, i drove the auto(all they had) i felt it was a bit quicker than my buddies NISMO 350, but maybe it was the placebo affect of being in one, who knows.

I agree on paper the 370z is a better car then the 350z hr and it prob will run better times. But thats all paper i mean look at apirl 2009 road and track the 370z should have beaten the cayman S by looking at it on paper. But it didnt 370z lost almost in everything.

370z Cayman S

0-60 5.2 4.8

1/4 13.7 13.3

i mean its not always about having more power and being lighter. its about how the car is set up. yes the 370z has more power and is lighter but does that help its launch or hurt it with wheel spin idk maybe it does or maybe it doesnt. also the gearing as well makes a diff and the stock tires it comes with. Its all about set up. so yes it is better on paper but someone has to do it in the real world.

you contradict yourself after every post it seems.

1. at first you say in your exact words "Fact, the 370z is not faste than the HR" .... how can you say for a fact when you had ZERO evidence that it wasnt as fast...
2. you use magazine references to call out the 370's weight saying that the base 370 weighs 3350LBS when in fact it was a sport model that weighed in at 3350. so there you misuse magazine information to back up your false claims.
3. now if someone uses the FACT, that magazines have run faster quarter mile times in the 370 than your own HR times you blow it off by saying magazine references suck that you need to see a forum member drive one at the track.

so wtf is it solo? you cant have it all your way man.

exactly but it goes both ways... you cant claim one is faster then the other until the "somoene has to do it in the real world." and as much as i hate to point to mag times, they have done it in the real world. but in any case going by your saying, how can solo justify saying "FACT, the 370z is not faster than the HR".... it goes both ways.

Show us where a 370Z has gone better than a 13.1 and it will be FACT. This is really easy actually...

I'd love to run one. Ran a g37s coupe a few times and he was not all that, of course the 370z is lighter then the g37s so I'm expecting more of a challenge.

Either way, Nissan is sure out to punish Porsche for some reason.

its pretty damn good when a mag driver can hit 13.3, the FACT is HR's are running high 13.5 but mostly around 13.7 with mag drivers. 370's are hitting 13.3 but mostly 13.5's with mag drivers. cant wait until a 370 hits 12.9 with a good driver.

Yes Nexx it does go both ways, But i dont have to tell you or anybody here thats its not all about throwing a stronger engine in a lighter car. Everything matters, Tires, weight, gears, hp and when the torque kicks in. When you get all this inline with each other, dam you have one killer machine. Now lets just say just for the sake of saying maybe just maybe the 350z hr is set a little better in the 1/4 mile. But the 370z on the streets is just a all around better car with handleing, rev match tranny, braking, gearing and a better torque curve for the streets. I mean im not saying this is the case, for all we know it can smoke the HR in the 1/4 im just making some points that other things matter not just hp and weight.

1. How can you say it's not when the 370z hasn't published any times faster. So fact is the 370z is slower than the 350z until someone beats the record of 13.1.

2) Base Sport model weighed 3360 actually per C&D. Which is much more than a base 350z, ent, track, and possibly touring. Nothing is false. Everything is a fact. But you are too arrogant to admit that you are wrong.

3) Since the 350Z wasn't tested in the same conditions as the 370z it is not a good comparison in times with the magazines. Some magazines got slower times with the 370z compared to the 350z as some got faster times with the 370z vs the 350z. So fact is it's a draw, neither one is faster than another it seems.
