Wish I could be more hyped since we're finally getting a new Z, but I just can't find it very aesthetically pleasing. Interested to see the body kits that will start to come out. On the other hand, i'm glad to be seeing stock turbos come back to the Z platform.
(I just joined the forum and this is my first post, i've already seen such a massive collection of information on here and i'm glad to start posting around and talking to some of you guys!)
It depends on your definition of aesthetic. We will have to see ...at least after the digital reveal.

The "silhouette" is good IMO, I like that the headlights are made to mimic the S30 that had the light covers, however pairing that with a fiber optic version of the Z32 tail lights won't flow well for me without a wing of some sort. They need to have a tail light bar from end to end like older 300ZX with a modern look, it will look modern as well since more and more manufacturers are doing them again.
Do you guys think they will sell the Z35 with a 2.0T (this doesn’t seem too far fetched considering the Supra is offered with this also)?
What are the issues/reliability concerns with the VR30DDTT?
We haven't seen a 2.0L option since the VG20s and the RB20s in the z31 (the 200Z, ZG, ZS), so that would be interesting if it poped up as perhaps a cheaper alternative. I can't really see it happening though, as nissan has been gradually raising their displacement since, and not offering any alternate engine options beyond the TT.

I don’t think it’s not too far fetched considering the MB 2.0T was offered in the Q50/60.
The optional brakes really make me excited about the car.
I can't remember being this eager for a new model release in a very long time. When the R35 debuted, yes, it was cool, but not realistically within my budget, so I just admire them from afar.
It's a damn shame they didn't keep the GTR in It's original price point, with it current position in the market I'd rather get the exotics in It's price range.

The R35 is a little long in the tooth. I think there's a mental brake at the six figure threshold compared to exotics. However, had we been offered a Skyline GT-R in the 90's, the median price was around 50K(?)
I'm at a birthday party when the reveal happens but I'll be anti-social and lock myself in a bathroom for a little bit. (Trav, don't go where I know you're mind is headed.)
