wuold it not fit in there if you just drop the shock by removing the two nuts from the wheel well side and mount the motors, feed the wire up through the strut bar hole...etc...etc..??

You can't get to the rear strut bar from the up top.

Specifically, look at post #8 and #16. That is where you'll feed your EDFC cable through.
When I installed my rear view camera, i fed the line through the driver side of the rear firewall as there is a passage way into the sub.

Thanks vtchang! for the heads up!
i was able to figure it out today i removed the rear struts and feed the lines that connect to the tein motors through the hole where the strut goes(RL-F1347 & RR-F1346). (i previously removed all the stuff in the truck) they came out through the trunk where the motors for the convertible are. i installed the rear motors on the struts (per EDFC manual) and plugged them into (RL-F1347 & RR-F1346). i then ran the edfc wire (RL-F1347) next to the oem main harness wires (on the drivers side) and followed them through to the tonneau area. For edfc wire (RR-F1346) i ran it through a whole next to the passangers side convertible motor that leads to the tonneau area. I zip tied both(RL-F1347 & RR-F1346) wires and ran them along the oem main harness wires that lead into the rear subwoofer behind the drivers seat. i installed the edfc controller in front of the shifter (plugged the front motors in, which had been previously installed) then ran the edfc wire (R Cable F1322) that plugs into the rear motors through the center console. (i removed the center console, at the rear of where the console lays there are two ovals that lead to the empty space behind the subwoofer). i ran Cable F1322 through there and plugged it into the edfc wires (RL-F1347 & RR-F1346). Last i plugged up the power wire and Green she went!!!! Whoop!!! Whoop!!!
