Do you have the Bose or the base stereo system?

Either way get the correct cable adapter from Crutchfield. I highly recommend against whacking into the stock cables and if you do the wires really ought to be soldiered into place. Having a hot iron in your dash for a dozen wires worth of connections is a sure FIRE way to burn something. The adapter is $20 what ever well spent.

The amplifiers can go into the luggage cubby behind the passenger or on a custom made plate behind where the Bose subwoofer went behind the driver.

The key is to do it right the first time - invest in some proper power and ground cable and distribution system hardware, use good RCA cables, and soldier all connections.

Depending on what year Z you have the second screen can go where the factory navigation went in the dash.

The rear view camera isn't that difficult either.

The best way to go is to invest in some quality hardware and cables for the power and ground systems, solder all connections, and have everything planned out before tearing into the job. Each of your modifications have how-to's posted at the top of the forum. Read them over and make sure you don't have any questions before begining.

Good luck and if you run into trouble there are plenty here who can help.

What year car?

The '03-'05 have a common dash, the -'06 has a slightly different dash and needs a different face plate kit. I like the Metra kit better than the American International one.

If you'll enter your data into Cruthfield's "What Fits" they'll give you a complete run down on what fits your car all for free using their on-line system.

for 06 the wiring kitis the same, but you will need the 06 350z kit, metra part number 99-7602 .

as for location of the amp, a common place is in the stock bose sub placement behind the seat, but its not just simply throw it in there you will want to build a solid platform there, and then put the amp on it, wire i tup...

again, if you havent done such a system before, it may be good to have someone help you along

+1 on the amp behind the driver's seat. That's a good place to start. Build a rack there, but don't get too "drill happy" as the Z's fuel tank sits right underneath it.

just get a 4 guage wiring kit..., and you will need some decent rcas..

get a good 4 guage wiring kit, and then get yourself a pair of twisted pair RCA around 17feet in length...

how many amps and speakres are you running? that will determine what wiring you will need
