What type of aftermarket Navi Should I Get

Question What type of aftermarket Navi Should I Get

I currently have an 05 with a broken navigation system door.. to fix it is a big problem or atleast thats what i think.. I cant find anyplace where they can fix it... i have a 400 dollar budget.. what type of aftermarket navigation system do you guys recommend?? also i have no idea where they can instal an aftermarket navi and how its gonna fit.. Im a total noob at this I would appreciate some help from you guys. Thank You!!

You can get aftermarket headunits that have navigation built into them. A quality one brand-new would set you back more than $400 if I'm not mistaken, however check into the marketplace here and see what comes up. Many people will upgrade and sell their old setup.

You cannot fix the broken door? That repair would be the most cost effective solution.

If you go aftermarket, you might be able to keep your existing LCD screen and add a GPS "blackbox." Garmin makes this product, and it will connect to your existing LCD screen.

OK, but where did you put it? on the stereo part or on the navigation part ??

You would have to remove your stereo.
