How's this for an update!
www.kptechnologies.net
We finally got our domain / email problems worked out and have posted a welme page. The rest of the site will be ready to go in less then two weeks (its almost done now). We are finishing up betaty testing, should be about another ten days or so on that. Then, we will have about thirty units to sell, so watch the site regularly. We have about 100 people wo want one so far!
Thanks,
Kevin Pierson

Does this mean that you're going to have two different modules for sale? I would assume that the Window module is the one to be made available first. What's the deal with the other module? Is that a definite plan too?
Thanks

Right now we have about 6 modules we are going to try and produce. They only definate one I can tell you about is a small module that will add a 'memory' to your VDC switch. The code is done and I have two of them actually built, but I have yet to have a chance to test it on a car. This will be a great mod at the track! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has forgotten to shut VCD off before running the 1/4 mile. Yes, I looked like an idiot!!

Any updates on the release date ? I saw another guy here got one and posted his resluts and said someone was selling them for $40, but according to the website they aren't ready yet. I have been checking a couple times a week, and am ready to order, so please update everyone on a potential release date.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Our Beta testing proved beneficial as one of our testers has found a problem that needs to be corrected before we start to sell the window module. It seems to be an isolated problem that only occurs in the G35, but by fixing it now I feel that it will make for a more reliable problem across all makes and models. As far as I know no one is selling these right now. We did our beta test period, but that ended a week ago.
Also, there is a new thread on my350.com from one of our beta testers: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=67321
Thanks,

I'm in Philly for work so I haven't been able to test any new changes to the circuit. I'll be home this weekend and should have time to fix everything.

A few questions.
I am looking at some of the users posting and reading their specs of what is in their car...
silverstoneTT, 3rdpower, onecoolee, Jspec350z to name a few...Are you guys still using the OEM remote?
If not have you thought about how will this device work with an aftermarket alarm? Or will it work at all?
For you guys that are not using the OEM remote anymore and have an alarm, there already is a product that will allow you to roll up your windows. I don't know who makes it, but it is installed in my car.
Using my Viper remote, I can roll down the windows & when I arm the car, the windows roll up. If anyone interested I will contact my installer and get the exact manufactor & name of the part to allow you to do this.

With an aftermarket alarm all you need is a pulse timer, or a spare validity channel. You don't need a special window module. If your installer charged you the $200 that they normally charge to do windows on our car then he ripped you off. The DEI 520T window module actually doesn't work very well with our cars because it adds one-touch down that makes the windows go all the way down when you open the doors. With a pulse timer or validity the windows will work great.
Sorry for no updates lately, I've been extremely busy at work and have been working closely with the Beta testers to iron everything out. The wait is almost over!
