I'm looking to upgrade some of my stereo components and I need some advice on subs. Assuming that I get an amp that adequately powers each sub option, which would give the best overall quality bass? The subs would be installed in a sealed enclosure using the tire well so all of these options below could be configued with the right air space. Music-wise I typically listen to trance, house, techno, hip-hop and some top 40 stuff.

1) 2 JL 10W3v2
2) 1 JL 10W6v2
3) 1 JL 12W3v2

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

I went through the same issue - initially i was going to get 2 10 W3's, but after i heard the W6v2, there was no question what I wanted. I recomend you go to dynamic audio in mesquite,tx - the guy who did my install ( GAVINO ) works there. They will match anything you can find. Take I30 to beltline and make a left. Then make a right into the 1st shopping center - It will be towards the end of the shopping center - I have a link to my setup on this thead - But definately go with a W6v2

I was going to get the 2 W3s until I heard the W6v2 as well. I like it and it is more than enough bass for this car.
