Well I just saw this thread, I need to look at Videos to get lap times, but I know of my last trip to VIR Full, was:

Track: VIR FULL
Date: March 09, 2010
Best Lap time: 2:15.1
Car: '03 Track
Tires: 275 NT01
Temp: 60s

Mods: Stupid.
Stock motor, bolt ons, 257 WHP
sub 2800 pounds
HKS coilovers/hotchkis sways

I know i have a 2:13 in me. Now that I have access to a traqqmate I can start pulling these times down. I gave up .9 seconds at southbend, the one lap I didn't down shift into 4th and floated it through there I picked up .9 sec. ALso an assorted second else where on the track.

Edit: Mods include:
No interior what so ever
Gutted doors
No heat
No A/C
APR wing
Cusco Upper arms
SPL pillow ball bushings on front
Custon Pillow ball tension rods
OE brembos, OE rotors, Carbotech XP10/Xp8 pads
Crawford upper plenum
Ported lower plenum and lower intake manifold
Crawford headers
Custom Test Pipes
JIC y pipe
Momentum performance catback
Z1/Pathfinder water bypass
Uprev tune (257 WHP)
HKS Hypermax II coilover (still 8kg springs)
-3 degrees camber in front
-2 degrees camber in rear
3.91:1 final drive/Quaife Diff/Nismo cover
Solid motor/tranny mounts
AMS radiator
NASCAR craftsman truck oil cooler (11 quarts total capacity)
Setrab 2 quart power steering cooler
JWT flywheel/ACT 6 puck clutch
Tons and tons of weight reduction but still OE sheet metal and stock motor.

Brakes: Stoptech - 13" front and rear
Pads: Ferrodo DS3000 front and rear
Lap Notes: Last lap of Race 4 with a Ferrari 355C on my tail. About 3 and a half seconds faster that last year http://www.mylaps.com/results/showrun.jsp?id=1398592
Major new mods from last year -added an HKS SC ~320hp

Track: MSR-Cresson - CCW
Date: 03/14/2010
Best Lap time: 1:20.283 AMB transponder

Tires: Hoosier R6 275/40/17 - almost corded
Brakes: Stoptech - 13" front and rear

Lap Notes: NASA Time Trial #6. Had cooling issues all weekend and never really got a clean lap during racing but did during time trials. New Mods - HKS SC ~320hp, SPL PRO monoball rear bushings, SPL PRO traction rods, SPL PRO front compression rod bushings

I bought a flip camera Sat night but haven't had a chance to download any of the vids and see how/if they turned out. Hope I have that session recorded. I was blown away when I saw the times!

Granted I have no experience with TWS......I did some snooping around at the track records, etc and 1:50 is FAST. Looks like it was a full 3 secs faster than your previous on the motor only.

I think it was 4.4 seconds faster than my previous on motor alone running CCW. I ran a little faster CW than CCW since you get a much longer run onto the front straight in that direction. I am extremely happy with a 1:50.2 but would have been ecstatic to get in the 49's! The car was hauling a$$ like never before.

The 1:50.276 was on the 320hp tune and it looks like I didn't get that session recorded.
Here is a vid during the first race. For ST3 on slicks I need to run the 295hp tune but I was able to put down a fast lap of 1:50.790 in Lap 3 of this race.

Qualified 3rd but the 2nd place viper didn't show to grid so I started on the front row. Probably should have been in 2nd gear but didn't expect them to throw the green flag so early. They usually wait till we're much closer to the start/finish line. First ~4 minutes (2 laps) are fun to watch but it gets boring after that with no passing other than screaming by a limping Viper between turn 2 and 3 around the 6 minute mark.

Yeah, and it was amazing. I was off on the R6 tire pressures, and I'm pushing the car more and more each time, the extra 15rwhp didn't hurt. The Hoosier recommended levels are too high, in my newly-found experience.

I have the vids here, but they are AVCHD/m2ts files, and the Panasonic software is at home. My wk pc won't let me download Splash. I just watched some vids during lunch. I'll keep tinkering with tire pressures, there may be another 1-1.5s, though I won't get greedy.

I don't know how up to date my source is, but the t2 lap record is in the 2:04's......but it wasn't in a 350z. I'd be curious to know what the 350z t2 record for thunderhill is.

I think it is still held by David Ray (it was at one point) at 2:06.6: http://motoringjstyle.blogspot.com/2...-t2-racer.html

Pretty drastic difference b/w the 350z and actual track record in t2.
