A lap around Circuit Mont Tremblant with a passenger. Dad in front with his 370Z and 50 whp advantage. Best record lap was 2.00.62 with a crappy transmission. Hope to do under 1:57 with hoosier and weigh reduction.
Nitto NT-01
Nismo LMGT-4 wheels
245 and 275 in 18''
246 whp and 3040 lbs (without driver and full of fluid)

I tried zooming the gopro and sticking the suction cup on the hatch but the view wasnt that good!
Make a headrest mount. get some 3/4" square tubing drill two holes for the head rest bars to go through and another hole at the end with a bolt then get the tripod mount for your gopro and attach it. I used to use that before I got my harness bar and mount.
Here's how I did mine:

I have since changed the end so that it uses a camera ball mount with the gopro attachment which allows for it to swivel/rotate freely.

The downside of having it here, as you can see, is that the mirror blocks a little of the view. You can also try sticking it higher up between the cubby's, but you won't get as much view out the window.

Best Lap time: 2:11.1
Car: 2007 350z coupe
Tires: 18x9.5 - 275/35/18 - 18x10.5 - 285/35/18 Hankook RS3
Brakes: OEM 2 piston calipers with Raybestos ST45 front ST43 rear
Other Modifications: swift springs, tokicko shocks, hotchkis sways, dual exhaust, tune, os giken diff.
Lap Notes (Rain, heat, etc): hot as hell (90ish degrees)
notes - tires had 3 prior track days on them, plus 5k street miles, pads also had 3 prior days. Had a 250lb passenger, and I had not been to Thunderhill since July 1st 2012. It was my first hot lap of my first session of the day. I was able to do one clean lap and the other few I got in were in traffic, and then I had some problems (what is believed to be a thermostat getting stuck shut? According to the shop at the track idk but the car seems to work fine now lol...maybe got stuck but freed itself back up?) and my car overheated. Had to get towed off the track, and ended up leaving after one session. Oh well it happens I guess. Video will be up later, regardless fun to be back at Thunderhill for the first time in a year.
heres one of the few laps I got in on Sunday.

Second trip out for my new race car and first time on a track where I can compare myself to a SpecZ car! Looks like I'm right on the pace since I'm only 2s slower than the one SZ car there the weekend before. I'm pretty sure I would have broken into the 1:49s if I had another session before a surprise thunderstorm left standing water everywhere. Next trip out I'm throwing the stock suspension on and maybe a set of 295/40 A6s if I can get them to fit under the front fenders without rubbing. Cage should hopefully be in by my next event.
After the rain I ran a 1:41.353 on the short course with some standing water still on the apex of 10 and 11 but the rest was drying really quickly. I'll post some video later today or tomorrow!
