where to go next AutoX Mods
Hey guys
I drive a 2006 350z base and I autoX on occasion. I don't really care about staying in a specific class. I basically AutoX because we don't have any tracks in SanDiego.
Mods:
VLSD from track model
Falken Azenis RT-615 255-40-18 all four
Eibach sway bars front and rear
plenum Spacer
HR Y Pipe
(just Ordered) adjustable sway bar end links
Right now the car is pretty balanced with the sway bars. I still have to be a little easy on the gas when exiting a turn. This is my daily driver so the mods need to be moderately friendly for day to day commuting. I have about 600 to spend.
Thanks
I don't think that the car has very good steering response

ok, it's probably more realistic to get the camber arms for for under 600 rather than the LSD. I'll probably start with those. You guys are right about the track stuff. They're a couple pretty close tracks. I was thinking streets of willow for a fist track. let me know if you guys recommend something different.
thanks

for autoX and front upper control arms I would recommend either SPL (camber and caster adjustable) or Kinetics Stainless steel arms (camber only).
Reason being - both can do track side camber adjustments, easy for a daily driven/autoX car.

however, i would save for LSD and gears if autoX is your passion...
Look into 3.7 gears at a minimum with swapping from a G35 sedan:

Others to think about:
-Suspension - coilovers, or good shocks and springs
-Harness bar and harnesses - more beneficial than you think!
-compression rod bushing paired with good upper arms is good.
-translink bushing
-Solid diff bushings
- hitch and trailer to take R comps to events.
