Default brake pad question

i currently have nismo r-tune pads in the front and plan on replacing the rears with oem brembo pads? will this cause any problems or do i have to match the front and rear with nismo r-tune pads?

Turn your discs!, THEN install whatever brand of pads you choose.

you don't even need to resurface the rotors if they're not warped ... just bed the new pads in immediately after installation.

you don't have to match front and rear pads. the brake bias will change though.

and +1 on not turning the rotors.

it probably wont have much affect, it is not necessary, but you should turn the rotors after each pad install so the new pad has a clean surface to bond to upon bedding them in.

That is why you bed the brakes... no reason to make the rotors any thinner as long as there aren't any grooves or pad transfer (warping)

I don't see any problem. Of course avoid putting different pads on the same axle.
