Default Brembo Swap Offset Changed?

I'm curious if swapping the OEM Brembo calipers changes the offset of the non-Brembo 350Z

What do you mean...

By swapping to the OEM brembo setup (which have larger calipers), wheels will need a certain offset to clear them.

I mean the original offset of the car, not the calipers. Like if I do the Brembo swap, will my wheels stick out a bit more after the swap?

Think about this one for a second. The calipers and the wheels shouldn't touch each other. So the Brembos don't change the offset.

On the other hand, the Brembo caliper is larger than the base brakes. You need to make sure the new calipers clear the inside of the wheels. Depending on what wheels you have now, you may have to move to a larger diameter wheel or add a spacer to clear between the wheel spokes and the side of the caliper.

I believe there is a DIY thread on changing to the Brembos. Check that out for details.

Wheel offset is wheel offset. It doesn't change.

ITs because your asking a question like. If I put Mobil 1 in my car, will my antifreeze get hotter. Neither apply to eachother.

I simply meant if the brembo rotors are larger in diameter, thickness. I'm curious if it's width where the bolt pattern is could affect the offset of the wheels, I didn't ask about clearing the caliper.

For instance: If the rotors (hypothetically) are 3mm outer than the regular rotors, and my wheels are +19, It would make the wheels stick out 3mm outer which will make it look +16 for the wheels .... because of the rotors

Do you get my question now?

The rotors dont physically take up space on the hub bolts, the rotors hat does.

I get it. Does the thickness of the rotor effect the position of the wheel? No. The wheel sits on the rotor hat not the rotor surface.
