I've been shopping around and I've come to a crossroads. Assuming both are cosmetically/mechanically sound and both have clean titles, would you go with an '03 with 70,000 miles or an '07 with 127,000 miles? Both are practically the same price and both have been maintained very well.
Both are touring trims. I prefer the color of the '07, but I can live with the color of the '03. Obviously the biggest draw of the '03 is the much lower miles, but the improvements of the '07 are extremely tempting. Are the improvements worth giving up 50,000 miles?

$10,000 for the '03. $10,500 for the '07. I dunno, 50,000 miles is a lot of driving. At my current annual driving average, it would be like 4 years of driving before I'd hit that mark.
This will be my DD just throwing that out there. I'm sure that may change some people's minds...

Between the two options you listed, I would go with the '03 as it will be your daily driver. Although the VQ motor is known to last upwards to ~250,000+ miles when maintained properly, you have to take into consideration the maintenance required on a vehicle with that high of mileage. 70,000 miles still has plenty of life left.
If you still aren't comfortable, continue searching.

I can realistically afford much more than the prices of these listed cars, but I'm not looking to spend much more than the prices listed. My reasoning on getting the Z is I'm trying to accelerate my savings right now for a house. I currently drive an Audi A4 and by getting into a car around $10k, I would be able to hit my goals in a shorter amount of time. The Z is my compromise choice as it's a car I can have fun in and not feel like a downgrade...I was also considering leasing a new civic among a few others that didn't make financial sense if I wanted to save (ie. the new IS350). I had an S2000 for almost 5 years before the A4 and I've been itching to get back into a two seater sports car.
I'm really leaning towards that '03...
