Default Do you ever use your buffer to wax?

I've seen videos with the porter cable and the only things I've seen them use it with is polish and cleaner. They always do wax by hand.

Can you buff out wax with a (random orbital) buffer? I've always done mine by hand, so I don't know.

You can but by removing the wax (or Zaino) by hand you can continually use a clean part of the towel or pad.

A pad on a power buffer will load-up quickly. You might not get that perfect shine. Perhaps if you change the pad often it would work better.

Try it and see, but be real carefull about heat build-up.

Are you talking about applying wax with the buffer or removing it? I started appyling wax with my Porter Cable and it works really well. You get great coverage and a nice even coat. Always remove everything by hand though.

i apply wax with my hand always then take it off with the buffer for a better buff since my hand can never mvoe as fast as the porter cable.

Do you then buff it out by hand?

www.autogeek.com porter cable buffer, the end all of hand buffing. Just used it today car looks great. I bought their full kit last year and was very happy with it, but if your car has serious spider webbing try and get their roughest pad because the roughest one they give with the kit doesnt get them all.
