OK, did I do something wrong (1st time applying Zaino)
Ok, I put on Zaino for the first time today doing everything in the instructions= Dawn, wash, Clay, Z5 w/ ZFX, buffed off, waited 30 min and applied Z2 w/ ZFX. I wiped everything off and then drove home about 20 miles on the highway. I got to a gas station and saw all this greasy haze on the car that I'm afraid dried to the point that I can't remove it. I sprayed and wiped the whole car with Z6 detailer and it helped a bit but not by much. Should I:
A) Strip the wax and do it again? Hope I don't have to. Or
B) Apply another coat of Z5 tomorrow hoping it will remove the haze on there now?
Please get back since this has me really scared, I don't want my paint to get messed up.
Thanx

you have a black car so you shoulda caught this problem earlier
its prob just that you didnt let the zaino dry enough before you tried to buff it out
go for the dawn but dont make it a habit

Dawn does not remove Zaino, Dawn is not needed, sounds like you took the polish off before it was dry, just mist the paint with plain water and buff with your wiping towel or wash the car with Z-7 and it should even out the finish.

During the summer, or anytime there is high humidity, high dewpoints, the Z5 or Z2 will take longer to cure. If it does not "smear" but breaks clean when you pass your finger through it, it's ready to buff out. I applied Z5 last weekend and had time to mow the lawn and play with the doggie before it fully cured. About 2 hours w/ZFX.

I agree with what Kevin said above. Also, make sure you are applying the polish VERY thinly. You should be able to do at the entire car once (or even twice) with only one ounce of polish. Spread it on as thin as you can. Your paint color should show through completely and only be slightly blurred by the polish. Zaino isn't applied like wax which goes on all white and swirly.

Edit: 2 Hours?
Well, I got on another layer today. Humidity is still high, but it did not take the Z2 w/zfx 2 hours to cure, even though the car was in my garage. Applied to the whole car and 20 minutes later she was ready to be buffed. Came right off, just like always.
