Exclamation Pine sap NEED HELP!!

I need help with any suggestions on a safe way to remove pine sap from my car. Somehow I parked the car over the weekend, not directly under any trees but it appears like it rained sap.

So if anyone has encountered this issue before and can offer some help id be very grateful.

You might want to try a bug and tar remover to get most of the sap off the car.

Try Stoner's Tarminator. Its great stuff.

You can also try claying the remainder of the sap off. You will obviously have to rewax.

Hope it helps...

I've used a solution of rubbing alcohol and water to get sap off my Z in the past...it takes a little elbow grease, but it does the job.

I thought that may work but im not a big fan of being abrasive..................thanks

About tar and bug remover does that stuff have nasty stuff in it that may hurt the paintjob? Thanks for the suggestions so far.

"Goof Off" worked good for me on brothers car. Just make sure you wash and rewax it pretty quick. Good luck!

Hey today i tried to get the sap off - horrible absolutely horrible - didnt come off with tar and bug remover - there was some sap on the windshield that came off in a pinch with rubbing alcohol but i def dont want to use that on the paintjob i think it will ruin it.................

So i think im going to go with the detailer suggestion bc maybe they know what to do.

Thanks again everyone

FWIW, I haven't had any problems with my paint after using rubbing alcohol to get the sap off...after the sap's gone, I usually rinse off the spot, spray detail and re-wax it.
