I've always run Chevron. The few shell stations around here look all shady lol. All we have is 92 octane, I should try mixing in 100 octane from the 76 next time out

I'm going to try to get a dyno in this fall, possibly a simple retune to lean the mixture out a bit, from what I've seen it should be somewhere between 11 and 12 which is way too high IMO, even for FI applications.
How many miles do you have on the caR?

Also, how would you "retune"? to lean out mixture? What EMS?

I've got around 6500 miles (or did for those slips) and had 1500 or so for my frst runs.

I would either try one of the laptop progams to mess with stock fuel maps (or an autologic), or just throw a utec in. Its not something I would just do generically, or without someone more knowledgeable than myself doing the fine tuning.

you should try pulling timing 2 degrees with Nissan's Consult. Should provide at least 6hp+...

I'm waiting for something with a PnP harness, I don't want to hack up my ECU wiring.

Yeah, I mean, I've found that you can get a blown ECu pretty cheap, rip the plug out of that, make the harness yourself and only be a couple hundred bucks higher. Tuning shops do that for BMW's so I figure I can handle it for my car if it came to that. I would go piggyback to be able to easily return to stock with no ECU footprint.

Ok, how about you rig both of us up a couple harnesses then? I did all my own tuning on my turbo ZX2, playing with a Utec should be fun

I didn't notice a difference in trap speeds from the Shell gas (in case anyone wondered).

It could be a difference of region, but the only gas I really see a quanitifiable difference in performance from (looking back) is Citgo, doing worse than the other 3 I've tried (shell, chevron, and Amoco)

Congrats!
You had some good runs, easy 10's if you would've hooked up. Awsome trap 132mph.

How much HP are you pushing in your set up.

Thanks. I dynoed just before I came to the track and it was making 600rwhp uncorrected last night.

This was the first time I've tracked the car, and I was worried about breaking an axle if I tried to launch too hard. All things considered, I was happy with the results.

11.1 @ 126mph last night in LOW boost with 490whp!! AND I let off at top of 3rd briefly due to car going into other lane...

Here is the info/VIDEO---> https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/303175-low-boost-greddy-tt-1-4-times.html

#3 now in TWIN TURBO list behind 2 guys with racing tranny's, gutted, nitrous, etc. Not to shabby for low boost

Once again great run... It only get better (times) would love to see you hit a nice 60ft. Ever considerd 3.3 FD to keep it in 4th in the traps.

Would you mind posting your dyno sheet, I would love to see your power cruve. 132mph trap is fast.
