Default Rear Differential Question?

Hey what's up guys...quick question. I know its 2 quarts of oil for the rear diff when replacing fluid but thats conventional oil. Since I'm putting synthetic, it may require more. I couldnt find any info on this so I would like to know what the amount of quarts with synthetic would be for the rear diff. Thanks in advance.

Hold on. I thought 2 quarts of

water equals 2 quarts of
milk equals 2 quarts of
regular motor oil equals 2 quarts of
synthetic oil.

So 2 quarts is not 2 quarts?

your not adding stronger fluid which requires less or anything like that.....your just adding better fluid....use same amount..

I just changed mine again last weekend, and the fill hole started puking back after give or take 1.75 qts.

...and yea, it was the mysterious synthetic fluid that warps the laws of physics

Big difference between you need 2 quarts and you going to use 2 quarts.
