Default Coolant line running to oil filter

Im thinking of removing the coolant lines that run to the oil filter spot. Has anyone else done this? Being that I dont drive it in the winter ever I think it serves no purpose and for summer Im installing an oil cooler so I think Im covered. Just want to see if anyone else has done this?

Yep. The coolant is actually much cooler than the oil which some cars have going to it, especially when the coolant is constantly flowing and being cooled by the fan.

nope none

the coolant also helps heat up the oil during cold weather which in Florida is not an issue.
