My SIKKY LS2 install thread
Haha will do. My engine is taking 12 weeks to sleeve and build so I have some time. =)
He had told me about this, but my understanding is that the math formulas for the CABUS still haven't been cracked yet. Most of the electical stuff is lost on me. When I talk to Franz he's usually telling me how he figured something out and the process it took to make it happen. Its so above me that I just ask if it works and am happy that I have something that others don't have yet.
Pickup is scheduled for Thursday right now, so I am counting the days.

The car survived the dyno, a little bit of clutch slip just before max power. Pick-up is scheduled for tomorrow

Wonderful! Glad to see it coming to an end for you! That appears to be what I would have expected given your mods. I made 322whp through a TH400 and a 5.7L so that is about right.
I offically welcome you to the club!!

wow 351 HP must feel insane
LOLBut realistically, most people think you throw in a LS2 and its like 450whp out of the box. Thats not how it works. Its no cheap to get the heads/cams/mainfold, etc to add an additional 100+whp.

I will see what the weekend brings. Got an invite to hang at the Borgata in AC as well.
Rich, dyno was just to show what the baseline is for bone stock GTO setup with SIKKY headers and the 4" intake with filter bought at Advance Auto.
I now have a baseline to compare to when I decide add a cam and do some mild head work. After rocking my Land Cruiser for the past year the 350whp will seem fast I hope. That is my largest concern, I want to leave things alone for a while, but if it feels really slow that will be difficult.
