Haha will do. My engine is taking 12 weeks to sleeve and build so I have some time. =)

Pickup is scheduled for Thursday right now, so I am counting the days.
CAN is just a comm network, the gauge probably uses a Stepper Motor to display the rpm. So you just need a controller that can read the can signal and control the motor.

Dakota Digital has a converter engine swaps. It may work.

The car survived the dyno, a little bit of clutch slip just before max power. Pick-up is scheduled for tomorrow

Wonderful! Glad to see it coming to an end for you! That appears to be what I would have expected given your mods. I made 322whp through a TH400 and a 5.7L so that is about right.

I offically welcome you to the club!!

Just got another update. These are the temps after an hour of street driving:

My SIKKY LS2 install thread-temps.jpg

Top # is water temp = 210.6*F

Intake temp = 93.6*F

Franz says the temps are plenty stable, so no overheating issues at the moment

wow 351 HP must feel insane LOL

But realistically, most people think you throw in a LS2 and its like 450whp out of the box. Thats not how it works. Its no cheap to get the heads/cams/mainfold, etc to add an additional 100+whp.

I will see what the weekend brings. Got an invite to hang at the Borgata in AC as well.

Rich, dyno was just to show what the baseline is for bone stock GTO setup with SIKKY headers and the 4" intake with filter bought at Advance Auto.

I now have a baseline to compare to when I decide add a cam and do some mild head work. After rocking my Land Cruiser for the past year the 350whp will seem fast I hope. That is my largest concern, I want to leave things alone for a while, but if it feels really slow that will be difficult.
