I doubt it will feel slow, but at least it sounds stupid fast!!!
Feels real quick and responsive down low and just not scary up top like with the twins. Its completely different, a leisurely 1st to 4th shift is perfect for around town driving.

I have a time or two. The Toyo R888's don't want to give up easily and if I really pound on it the clutch will slip a bit. The throttle response is immediate, the ViPEC eliminates the slight hesitation people speak of with the factory setup. It yanks HARD down low and smoothes out up top. I'm thinking with a little SC or a good cam/heads combo it will be perfect.

Anything over 2500rpm on the tach and people just stare. You can hear me coming from behind you apparently as I see peoples eyes checking the rear view to see what the noise is. I cruised down a city block or two today and was setting off car alarms

The clutch is the first thing on the new mod list, but that would be inevitable even without modding so its no huge deal. I wish I could sell my Carbonetic Twin so help pay for the new clutch.

Time to drink a few beers and do some LS/T56 research.

Confirming as well that the hard shift from second to third will be delayed without the drill mod

The guy with the red G35 knows what he is talking about. If I try to slam from second to third there is a moment of pressure or resistence before the gear will engage.

Cass, you should consider getting my clutch and flywheel setup.. When I did my research people loved it on both Na and FI application. It is a beast and holds upwards of 700+. I will txt you some info when i get to the shop. It is a SPEC. with a different flywheel combo.

Why are you guys running evap? There has got to be an area in your state that doesn't require emissions. I yanked all that stuff, and registered my car in a county without emissions.

I ordered the Zconcepts aluminum underpan today. I will report back as to if it fits or not. Looking for any guidance others may have for a streetable clutch/flywheel combo with stock feel that can handle 600whp eventually and multiple drag strip runs.

Dear Santa...

Check out the Fidanza 7.6 dual clutch. The Camaro5 guys seem to love them and I have one in my room waiting for my LS2 swap. They are under a grand and hold up to 900 ft lbs of torque which should be plenty for your needs.

This. I was talking to that fanfoe dude on ls1tech and he said he just ran the evap straight to the intake, no purge vavlve or anything. I will get more clarifiction on this, as I would imagine that running a line from a vented gas tank to an intake would be like creating a vacuum leak but then again maybe not, since this dudes car runs fantastic.

Thanks in advance for the help, Cass.
