Me too!!!

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I'm like a kid on Christmas today. Rolling to VA in style today, my brother-in-law is driving me down in his freshly tuned SC'd Vette

Is it really hot over there on the east coast right now? 93* intake temps on an NA setup sounds like you need some fresh air on that intake

300tq at 2600rpms is very nice. it will pull strong.

I did the freaking math wrong the first time... apparently the Google does not know everything. I did it as *F = 9/5*(C+32) and the correct conversion is *F = ((9/5)*C)+32.

So correct coolant temp is 185*F and intake temp is 68*F ... Jeff wins a prize for being the only one to notice.

The car is home and is AMAZING!!! It drives completely different. I LOVE the sound and its even quieter at cruise on the highway than the previous setup, possibly because of the H-pipe. When I get on it people stare... I had a small crowd of employees at the toll plaza checking it out.

It drives like stock other than the shifter being a shorter throw and not nearly as smooth. Cruises at 75mph at 1900rpm in sixth and fourth gear is good for anywhere from 25mph to 65mph. The reverse is a bit tricky, but I will get used to it.

The clutch is much stiffer in pedal feel than before, Franz says its because the master cylinder SIKKY provides is very large. The clutch engagement is very high on the pedal as well, but the engagement is so easy vs the carbon clutch that I can almost let the clutch out with no gas in first on level ground and it just goes, even with the idle set at 800rpm.

Overall, I am very happy so far

A HUGE and long overdue THANK YOU to my boy FRANZ for all the work he did for me on this project!!

For others that are doing the swap and want some of the same WIN that I have or if you are having issues that you just want fixed correctly please give him a call or send an email.

http://www.dieboldautosport.com/

You can see a few of the cool things he's done by searching busstopstickup on youtube or just google him. I took him a half done mess and he made everything communicate correctly and function as close to stock as possible.

Special things he figured out for me include...

Using the stock Nissan pedal to control the LS2 drive by wire TB

Linking the Nissan and LS evap systems

Stock Nissan tach functional

Nissan fan control for external fans

Stock toggle switch for the AC compressor control

Integration of the LS and Defi sensors to the stock Nissan cluster so idiot lights work for coolant temp and low oil/oil pressure

Custom wiring harness with sub-harnesses for transmission and accessories

I'm crazy excited for you. If you end up in VA, WV, NC or TN at any events soon, let me know and maybe I'll drive up. I'd love to see her in person.

I now have a baseline to compare to when I decide add a cam and do some mild head work. After rocking my Land Cruiser for the past year the 350whp will seem fast I hope. That is my largest concern, I want to leave things alone for a while, but if it feels really slow that will be difficult.
I doubt it will feel slow, but at least it sounds stupid fast!!! Hope to see you Saturday at Cecil.
