OK ladies and gents..installed my kit today, and I recieved V6.0 (6 wires) after we "thought" we were done, low and behold here sits this extra wire, with the "6" wire marker on it. No clue where it goes, so just called it good for now. Any help?

It needs to run from the rear of the plenum to the left side frame. Attached pic is where I routed it.
The 6th wire was a test- the JDM kit included 6 wires, so Guy decided to experiment. I do not believe that the 6th wire made any significant difference.

There was no difference worth ordering the extra wire per my conversation with Guy and if you have an Injen Intake I think the routing is different too. Nice pic good mod if you got 6 wires use em, I would can't hurt!

Loctite? Just a little not too much, the equivelane you mentioned should work but I don't make the product.

Default Imagine that...

More and more publications are documenting what has already been know…

THE GROUNDING KITS WORK! Imagine that!

Nissan’s Earthing Kit: $200 +
Sun’s Hyper Ground System: $120 +

OR InSaNeAmine’s Z-Xtreme Custom Grounding Kit: $75 plus shipping

You make the call.

Insaeamine....please drop me a email. I'd like to get your grounding kit, if you still offer it. Thanks.

Ok... Let me ask my question again.

Why 4 guage??? IMO, the wire is very large and wayyy more then overkill to ground the engine. Can someone tell me the technical benifits of this over a smaller wire?

Because it LOOKS good!

It is clearly demonstrated that when things look good, they work better.

Mine is red and it looks like candy strings all over the engine bay. Or some christmas decorations.

For pics, follow the sig!

Default silver vs. blue grounding kit

I'm about to purchase a grounding kit from Insaneamine, but can't decide whether I want the silver or blue. I have a Chrome silver & know the silver would "match", but I think the blue would look a little more sporty. Can anyone post pics of the silver vs. blue back to back to help me decide?...much love

I don't have the kit, but I think I remember from someone posting the after a couple months the silver wiring turned orange. It still performs though, so you may want go for the blue.

The silver wire that discolored was Skidazzle's kit, not Insaneamine's. I have a chrome silver with Insaneamine's silver kit and have no discoloration.

I had raised a question on this article in another thread but didn't get an answer and was especially hoping for one from you (and others). My question was around the positioning of the cables. The article claims some serious gains but I noticed that they used a slightly different configuration of cable positioning to that we use with your kit and they also specifically mention "the key is trying different positioning". Did you experiment with this at all ? Do you believe there is potential for evaluating different configurations ?

Very happy with the product by the way - just curious.

Question

I'm about to purchase the kit but I have an unanswered question.

How is the blue look in comparison to the Daytona Blue? I know it's not going to be the same. However, I think that if it's a darker shade of blue it would look better that a lighter shade. I just need to decide what color to get so I can have it ordered and installed by the end of this week.

Just installed insaneamine's silver grounding kit. Looks great - workmanship fantastic. Delivered to Australia in about a week from date of order. Oz 350Z has battery compartment on opposite side to US version but an extra long cable was included to account for this!
Keep up the good work Gyula.

Floor mats, Luggage net, cargo seperator

Default This is his new website

It's a great kit and he ships fast. My advice is if you really want it rather than wait for Guy to "PM You" just go straight to his website and order! I'm sure he is swamped and I rarely see him post like he used to so make it easier for him and order them.

Jut trying to help because this comes up allot here and 20+ pages is alot to read LOL.

I'll vouch for him and the product ANY day!

http://www.z-xtreme.com is his website!
