Default Exedy clutch grind

Hi
I’ve recently had a lightweight flywheel and exedy clutch fitted to my 06 Rev up . It grinds when I’m changing up a gear . Garage is saying it must be the wrong kit (they ordered it) and are now saying they’re going try the old c and f if they can find it 🤦🏻‍♂️
it was supplied by a very reputable dealer. Does this sound right or could it be be poor fitting? I’ve had a mare with these lads

Well, you, as the final and deciding point in this transaction have the right to have them make it right. Whoever screwed up by ordering OR delivering the wrong part is not your concern and putting your old parts back in is simply and utterly unacceptable. The shop needs to fix it and whatever the issue is with the part is between the shop and the supplier.
