I don't know anyone changing geometry for racing, drag yes but not HPDE or TA.
I'd argue Nissan knows best, the clanking is probably the coilovers, more so if it is a true coilover. This chassis is setup for a divorced suspension and should stay that way, the mere fact that a company as high end as Ohlins makes a divorced set of coilovers should tell you that.
if you are going with a B12 kit, just get SPC FUCA and rear camber arms and get a bushing kit for the rest, you don't need fancy arms.

awesome, thanks for feedback on geometry too. And divorced coilovers

Yes the b12 kit is on the car already, its the only new suspension part already done. I was just kind of wanting to change everything, since its an older car, and has alot of wear on suspension parts. Plus Im trying to go all out on the car. alot of the bushing kits come with bushings I already have (diff bushings) or the arms will have them pre-installed. I may be better off separately buying the few other bushings. I guess i could get a different brand, instead of the nismo rear traction arm. I wasnt sure if it would work well with spc arms anyways.
Im also confused about front inner tie rod kit. I was going to get that oem, because i didnt see an aftermarket option. Unless, there is another name for it. I assume i need two as well.

OEM is fine, unless you are drifting.

def dont plan on competing in drifting ever, or want to set car up for that. I kind of like getting from point a to b fast. I mean im sure i will bust it sideways one day and might even drift around every corner on occassion. I mainly wanted to make sure i was replacing anything that can wear, or feel sloppy. and that i wasnt double buying anything under a different name.

The OEM suspension components are fine and you just need to replace your bushings. The only really necessary things are FUCAs for the front and rear camber arms since you're lowered from factory height and need to get your camber adjusted. Once you've got that installed, get it aligned and you'll be ready to rip.

Just in time for Thanksgiving.

Exactly, no other adjustable arms required, unless you are slammed on true coilovers.
You can buy bushings from Nismo or Hardrace (rubber), Whiteline (polyurethane), or SPL (spherical)
Depends on how hard core you want the car to be, if you ask me....
SPL for shock mounts F&R and compression arms, then rubber or polyurethane for anything else that doesn't get replaced for adjustability.

You should definitely put a Ferrari engine in it.

lol i defintely want it to be a nice z. even if i neglect it paint and body wise. and even if it has battlefield scars from going off road in rain or something. i want to get an undershroud maybe and take really good care of it and make it awesome. want to take it pretty far and maybe keep these b12s as long as my engine lasts, then upgrade to coilovers. i hope my b12 kit isnt getting damaged rn riding like this. saving and eating cheap food to get thru this first part of close together work.

i want it to be indestructible and like a new car darkz03 even if its not that fast and boosted, i still want to let it live some and not have some suspension component with a worn area so definitely wanted a good setup. especially with me riding like a dumbass rn damaging stuff. i like to think far in advance but once this engine is toast if it will give me just a little time, i may get diff arms with solid bushings and coilovers of some sort, and go hardcore next time. i hope my shocks and engine can last maybe 40k miles. its tempting to do more than what i need to get into spec. thanks again

edit: one reason i want spc w urethane is for nvh only because the whole shake the car thing. something in me just feels like the car will stay younger and not get rattled apart. and i can do all of that when its higher mileage.

empty is always good.. so is a turn at a green light with a whole crowd at the red lights. lol jk i usually dont do that.

anyways i really wouldnt mind getting into racing. being more broke im less competitive and not wanting to mod for a class. just want to go play. i always end up doing stupid stuff in every car i own at times. esp if its lightweight and manual trans. even if its fwd economy.

looks nice, i didnt even know about nismo coilovers and brakes. Im actually impressed in general with nismo. I knew they were good, but i was unaware they literally make some of the best stuff.

Im cool with expensive rn. for some reason this is what i want to spend all my money on.

btw, are shock mount bushings(aka rear knuckle bushings) in any of the stuff i might buy like control arms? or do i need 8 of those, if i want to replace them.

Friend of mine makes aluminum ones...

If you're throwing money around, figured I'd send some my friends way. He's got a wife and kids to support.

Nismo doesn't make anything. They rebrand other people's stuff and sometimes have stuff made to their specs. Example... Nismo intakes are made by AEM.

Those look nice! ill def order something like that from your friend. Not immediately, after i get tires and arms and all. Once the time is right, i may even bug him and see if he can get me a full underbody setup. Since its confusing and has different sections for sale.

I didnt know that about nismo. They just lost a couple brownie points

Hook it over the top of the pedal first, then pull down and do the bottom one corner at a time.

None of the bushings in the knuckle will be included or replaced by any arms.

Nonsense. The NISMO badge alone adds at least 20 ponies to the wheels.

I had the Nismo Badge Plus. Had an extra 450bhp.

But the sticky failed and fell off during a bitchin' pull.

Lost to Prius.
