Anybody want to shed light on my modding dilemmas?
I'm all for trying to fix things yourself and showing some initiative, but some things are best left in the hands of a professional.

Then i have all of my suspension parts ordered thru them. I wish i could get sway bars and rear knuckle bushings to complete it, but maybe next time. They are not all here yet, and getting tires flat on the ground, or fixing the horrible low rpm issue mainly, may precede trans. Im saving, and taking it all in.

I do notice the more i drive the z, that i dont fit as well as i thought. I have to be reclined at an angle thats strange to me. If i sit real upright, im a little tall and close to the steering wheel.
Maybe i can customize that someday. Get a racing seat dropped a lil lower somehow. and maybe even somehow move it back a few inches, or get a steering wheel a little further away.

im not complaining about the car. I am kind of curious if that plastic behind the seat, casters, or steering wheel could be modified. So i could get my perfect position. Its not far off really. I just need an inch or two. Edit: im not buying yet obviously. I found a sparco low seat base for 350z. idk how far back you could mount it, if it uses factory mounting points. it sounds like i may have the possibility of moving my seat down atleast. I wonder if this mounts to the floor or casters.

You can remove the entire rear speaker/cubby section behind the seats, though you do sacrifice a tinge of rigidity. Track owners replace it with a roll cage. Stock seats are garbage, cost cutting to save Nissan from bankruptcy in the very late 90's. They have been the most uncomfortable seat in any of the cars that I have ever owned.

hmmm, thats awesome mr sparco! i hate sacrificing rigidity. I wonder if i could still do some kind of cage, and still get a few inches to play with on seat. Ive actually been thinking about the cage this whole time. Idk what has to be taken off the car, should this always be first mod? I may not ever put one in this car, and get something else like a vette to track. Im very indecisive where this car is going.
