I originally posted a non car update, because i thought i shattered my ribs. I thought i wouldnt be able to work or drive for a long time, and the thread would die til after dugan dayish. The impact was so hard, and my chest wall flexed in deep. I cant hardly move, because the ribs will move and hurt. But turns out, this is a small hiccup, and i just ripped all the cartilage off the ribs. Thats why they move around and hurt, no breaks, I should be back to work in a week or two. 🤘Ill post when i get a car update..

edit: this was not a car wreck btw lol.

I sure hope pork chop working out of his house does better suspension work than an alignment shop. Better get those coilovers to eliminate the rear spring bucket and run your Nismo rear toe arms.

And now I've got to ask, how did you injure your ribs?

I wont have pork chop do suspension, just some other stuff. I really like the alignment guy. Unfortunately this is still a big set back for the car! Missing work rn sucks, and the emergency room bill will be huge! I had an ekg and ct scan. If u must know, i was running across some tall parking bollards, one foot on each. They looked alot like this photo i found, but were more rounded on top. I slipped, and it hit on top of one, just below my heart. I would have went to urgent care, and saved money, but i thought they were forsure broken. Urgent care could only x-ray, and diagnose. I know its a really stupid way to get injured, but im usually pretty tough, and do alot of stuff like that in my free time.

Limpmode tuning is sketching me out. I ordered the ported stuff in early November, along with an intake. The website said 30-90 day lead time. I forsure thought i would have it by now. I contacted them about 3 and a half months later, he deeply apologized about my order being missed. I was told to give him some time, and was told he could probably ship the intake in a week. It has now been a month. I just emailed again. I am reading paypal, which was used. I am also reading the LMT website.

Paypal says i have one more month, to report a problem with the order, or im screwed. The limp mode tuning website says "NO RETURNS" on orders they have to fab. Also that customers who chargeback, will be banned.

edit: spoke to him on the phone, and he made me feel way better. Either he is genuine, or a real good talker. ** intake shipped out! ported stuff soon apparentally.

Well, i paid for the limp mode stuff all at once, in early November. With a credit card of course lol. Im in about the same amount of credit card debt (only 2-3 thousand), and have 3200 in medical bills now. I want a cage, seats, used engine, tune, suspension parts to get in camber, better brakes/ master cylinder brace, a new front bumper, and interior stripped i guess. I never turn on audio, and idc about road noise.

Most of all, I want the front suspension issue FIXED. I have asked my shop so many times to diagnose it. It may be the sound it makes while braking hard.. Anyways, i took it to the alignment guy, to diagnose it. He said my P2M sway bar end links, are digging into the metal, and have the wrong hardware. He said it is causing popping noises, and he suggest different endlinks. He said then, he can rotate the sway bar up where its supposed to be or something idk. He also said my top hats were bad. I cant afford that right now, but will do endlinks. I doubt it is the endlinks, because it has been having this issue, before i had a sway bar. The popping is annoying too though.

I want to get out of debt, then get some badass no interest purchase card, and finish the z in debt😂. or i may just get into debt hardcore and get a loan on a second car, and stop driving the z so much. I have long commutes now.

I found out it was wrecked! Im back at work, and fixed my headlights. Ive only hit a short curb, or the underside. Also i noticed the previous owner replaced the right headlight probably, because its different from the left. Also, the signal lights in the bumper are not hooked up.

Eh, just go into more debt and get the end links and top hats fixed. It's just money.

I would address the oil consumption issue first before tackling an annoying suspension popping sound. What good is suspension on a car with an unhealthy engine?

That's a pretty good hit to the front. None of this is surprising.

Oh, and the "signal lights" in the bumper are not lights. They're just reflectors (unless they're aftermarket).

Yes, you were correct about the wrap covering up something nasty i guess. I hope the frame is perfect. It's nice to know about the reflectors. The oil consumption issue is very soon on the list. I really do plan on solving it though, with another used engine, despite the hate. Maybe if you could feel the suspension issue, you would think otherwise. It has play around hard turns. it bounces around side to side on bumps, and causes it to handle funny. It make multiple different noises. Theres a wheel bouncing popping noise, clanks, then theres the sway bar popping noise. I just moved my front tires to rear. They look so different than the tires that havent been on front. They have scrubbing marks atw down the sidewall.

@Heel Til I Die Hey, man, be serious, stick to the subject.

We were talking about circular motion not bush dancing! C'mon, no wonder this place has such a low S/N ratio.

Freshly waxed hardwood. Give it a good buffing. Lots of circular motions.

lol im about to blow your alls mind with some news. It may be considered going full circle lol. since i have medical bills, and im taking on more debt. Im getting an hr 350z convertible as my daily driver saturday! 56k miles garaged and babied, clean carfax, older person owned. And yes its a loan with a downpayment i finagled up, with a little on credit cards still... im picking up the check from bank saturday. I will of course, look it over very good. The only reason i would back out, is a problem. Ive already hassled the seller alot. The whole reason is because now that my injury is healing, I want to goto the gym in nighttime. I plan on keeping it oem especially the exhaust, the whole time (maybe i can focus money on my other car), and am not looking forward to oil gallery gaskets.. My commutes long now, and i want to stop driving the other z to death. I want to iron out the suspension issues, and engine issues.

limpmode tuning came through! Apparentally he shipped my original order to someone else, and doesnt know who. Im just happy theyre legit still. I changed my own front sway bar endlinks, because the alignment guy had busy schedule. I centered my sway bar too. I also threw a code for P0442. Evap system leak detected. the autozone guy told me it was my canister purge valve, and showed it to me where it was it. What he showed me was the evap purge solenoid. I thought that was it, so i took the pretty one off my 2004 engine. I swapped them. The car runs about the same as it always has. Im now learning, that the reason that solenoid looked diff, is 03 and 04 have different ones. I may swap it back.
