Installed new start motor connector as I ordered it with the old style and needed the new, Installed knock sensors.
I need some header wrap or to ceramic coat the exhaust manifold/housing before install, and that should finish up the exhaust side completely.
I need to install a throttle cable so i can close up all of the engine bay false firewall. not sure on what throttle cable to order....
I need to order some fans, I was thinking of ordering these [Spal 30101505 12" Straight Blade Low Profile Fan]

I have the lines for the oil cooler already(left over from fuel system) just need a few fittings to finish that up.
I need another precision waste gate as I only have 1 and im still also missing a clamp.
I need a wide band as i ordered the wrong one >.> Thinking about going multi boost/afr gauge just not sure which one.

Air filter, serp belt, I am probably ditching A/C because my compressor has the wrong connector and there isn't enough room for the fans with the AC condenser.

Looking for advice on fans and throttle cable if anyone has any input.

Had a couple more setbacks the waterneck pipe with the o-rings is too short for the 1.5jz had to order a custom one from driftmotion. Also went to install power steering lines and the fitting coming off the pump is at the wrong angle(goes directly into the manifold). So I ordered a new an fitting for the power steering pump. I also have to order a ac delete bracket.

This is what I ordered

Ordered the longer one the short one is 1jz medium is 2jz and the long one is for a 1.5jz

Fitting for the low pressure line

Just waiting on them pay checks at the moment, so i can order the final bits and pieces.

In the mean time the coolant pipe and power steering pump fitting showed up so I can start plumbing the power steering low pressure line as well as the oil cooler.

Update couldn't help myself ordered more parts

Lokar TC-1000LS148 - Lokar Hi-Tech Throttle Cables

SPAL Automotive USA 30101505 - Spal Electric Fans

Dropped the turbo off to get coated, finished the vaccume lines on the intake side, started working on the power steering return lines.

We are getting so close to start up.

Today I
Turned the engine over - starter is working and clearing good(injectors off)
All gauges except speed do a full sweep.
Fuel pump working with key on, 50 psi atm.
Calibrated TPS.
Map sensor calibrated.
IAT sensor calibrated.

Ecu is pretty much setup for a test fire.

Tomorrow I will be checking the timing to see if it matches the ecu.

I am really attempted to start it up without the turbo..... and gates........feels good

I finally feel like I am almost done!!!

For the type of build you have been rocking through it.

Thanks man, i am trying my best... I am hoping it will be drive-able in the next 4 weeks, depending on shipping of items etc....I used a lot of money so far lol, but just over half the build was paid for by insurance / parting out my car that was stolen and butchered....and I had most of the sensors, ecu, fuel lines/oil cooler lines etc... already so it really helps.

I have been squeezing every penny I can into the car to get it finished as soon as possible, my biggest fear the entire build, was not being able to finish the goal I set with the car. I was always felt like it wasn't progressing fast enough and my drive was to keep it from being given up on and parted out. Now I can feel how close I am getting and it's pushing me even harder to get this car running!

does your link have the option to test-fire the coils and injectors? If so, maybe run through them to confirm?

I believe it does, but I nervous that it will cause damage or flood the cylinders...

unless your fuel pump is creating pressure in the fuel system the amount of fuel dropped into the cylinder would be minimal ... it fires like at 5 or 10hz ... as long as it's quiet in the shop you run it for 1 or 2 seconds and turn it off. I needed a mechanics stethoscope for the coils. Just a thought.

I just looked at the PCLink it does have injector/coil test... I will read the help section in the ecu tomorrow about using it properly.

Thank you for the input I didn't even think about that!

This function allows injector wiring to be tested and can also be used to help with injector flow testing. This function will only operate when Engine Speed is 0 RPM.

Injector Test Settings

Injector Test has the following options available:

· OFF - No injector drives will be tested. · Inj X (2ms 10Hz) - Where X is the injector channel. When selected injector drive X will pulse 10 times a second with a pulse-width of 2ms. This will continue until OFF is selected from the Injector Test menu. · Adv Test Inj 1 - An advanced test mode only for injector drive 1. When selected the advanced injector test will start, and once the test is finished Injector Test will return to OFF.

Test Injection Counts - The number of times injector drive 1 will pulse for in total. Only used when Injector Test is set to Adv Test Inj 1.

Test Injection Frequency - How many times per second injector drive 1 will pulse. Only used when Injector Test is set to Adv Test Inj 1.

Test Injection PW - How long each pulse will turn on for. Only used when Injector Test is set to Adv Test Inj 1.

Note: The fuel pump (if controlled by the ECU) will be disabled during this test procedure as RPM is 0. If testing injector fuel flow using Adv Test Inj 1 the fuel pump will need to be on. Select the Auxiliary Output channel the fuel pump is allocated to and change its function to Test (On), this will cause the fuel pump to turn on. Remember to set the Auxiliary Output channel back to Fuel Pump when injector testing is finished.

Example:

Injector Test: Adv Test Inj 1

Test Injection Counts: 30

Test Injection Frequency: 5 Hz

Test Injection PW: 5.0000 ms

When setup like above the Injector Test function will pulse injector drive 1 five times per seconds (every 200ms), for a pulse-width of 5.0000ms. In total there will be 30 pulses, and the entire test cycle will take 6.0 seconds. At the end of the test cycle injector drive 1 will stay off and Injector Test will change to OFF.

Ignition Test

This function allows ignition wiring to be tested. Each ignition channel can be tested individually. This function will only operate when engine speed is 0 RPM. When a particular ignition channel's Ignition Test function is turned ON, the ignition channel will be pulsed at 10 Hz with a pulse width (dwell time) of 5 ms.

Throttle cable and spal fans installed, just waiting for the second wastegate and clamp to come in. The turbo is getting ceramic coated and should be ready Friday, I just have to finish the low pressure power steering lines, ordered the wrong fitting again... so i got my fabricator making me a pipe instead.
Installed AEM wideband gauge forgot to take pictures.

Here's a video of the fans running

Thanks, me too

Well currently there is regular 5w-30 in there, i will be draining it soon and adding some break in oil(already have it).

The engine will most likely be broken in on the dyno, before the final tune.

Right on ... do you anticipate running a 30wt oil in the future?
