On my '04 Enthusiast (which has NO security syst.) there is a red blinking light on driverside dash where dash meets window. do all 350's/enth. have this? is it a "fake" or diversion for thiefs they put on?

 

It means that the motor will self-destruct in 60-seconds. Get out of the car and run!

So 350z without the security system wont stand out, making them a more likely target for theft. at least i think so.

 

run forest run....it is the same as a c4 warning light.

 

I guess you didn't get an Owner's Manual with the car?

Mine is never on or blinking.....

haha mine is off when unlocked....and blinks when locked.....although I already know (from the dealer) that it's been defective ...2 yrs though and it still works (just the wrong way)

 

Mine works. Blinks when locked. If its locked and someone trys to open the door (reaching in the window to open the door) it makes a terrible alarm noise.

 

lol can you really be so dense as to not realize that your car has a security system?

you know that big black plastic thingy that came with ur car key. ya the one with the buttons on it. you know they ALMOST look like a lock and unlock and trunk button. and the red one is the best of all, its the self destruct.

but ya, that remote must be a fake out for the theives too. hell it even fakes out the driver! it makes you THINK your car has an alarm system but yours really doesnt. sneaky little asians arent they!
