Default Z 06 tail lights used as turn signals?

Last night I was behind an Infinity suv it had LED tails. When they went to turn on their turn signal it was the whole tail light that flashed. On my Z I wanted to make just the brake light flash instead of the lower turn signal. If I remove the bulb and run wire to splice into the brake light bulb will this cause a fuse to blow? I think it might look nice. Has anyone else done this? Thanks

You need to use 12V relays for the switching effect. Is it really worth it?

being different doesn't always equate to a "good idea"

then again you can try and innovate, just don't blow out your LED taillights during experimentation as they are not as simple as replacing little bulbs; if attempting to repair

I've had the same thought before, just don't know how to make it work.

People have been doing it on motorcycles for the last few years. If you contact a manufacturer they may be willing to make a kit.

Here's one: http://www.customled.com/PRODUCTS/IN...ntegrators.htm
