Headlight Replacements - 8pin to 6pin?

Default Headlight Replacements - 8pin to 6pin?

Hey Everyone, i have a 2003 350z and i factory headlights were damaged so i decided to purchase new ones from ebay. when the lights arrived i noticed that the new headlights have a 6pin connectors vs. the car's 8pin connector. any suggestions?

Are the lights you purchased OEM?

this is what information was provided

 
100% brand new in original packaging.

Both left & right headlights and eyelids are included.

Made by OE approved and ISO certified manufacturers with quality that meet or exceed OE requirements.

JDM Black housing projector headlights with black finished high quality ABS headlight covers.

Direct replacement.

Headlights are not compatible with factory HID, high/Low beams H1 bulbs included.

3M double sided tape is included for headlight covers.

Fits 03-06 NISSAN 350Z all models.

Not OEM...

The headlights you bought are halogen. If your car is not a base model, they are not going to work.

Yea swap the harness. I had to do that when I bought '06 headlights because the person that had them originally swapped them into his 03-05 BASE and I had a touring which used the same harness as the '06.

Kinda a PITA if you don't know what you're doing...which I didn't. I had a friend do it lol.

Well that's the only way I'd think but considering these aren't OEM I have no idea if that would work. I went from OEM to OEM.
