my 05 Z have VDC button, cloth seat and blue light that beamed by the headlight. Is this HID?
my lights are too dim at night. I think i need to buy the bulbs. This is my first time dealing with headlight bulbs. Where can i buy these?

Whats too dim? your lights are dirty maybe? lol. Yes you do have HID with VDC, but try comparing yours to other Zs/g35z first. new bulbs aren't that expensive, and you could replace them. After all, they are over 5 years old now.

I guess i have HID then..hooray lol
I compared mine with my brother's g35 coupe. my lights are WAY too dim. They are even dimmer than non HID lights that have orange lights. When i look into g35 HID, when it's on, i t's really hard to stare at it. But my Z is really easy to stare at the HID when it's on
I don't think i want to buy a new one for what i have right now. I would probably go with little bit brighter HIDs. Anyone know the brightness of 05 Z and what number is brighter than that?

7500 kelvin is blue/purple. OEM HIDs are 4300K, and 5000K with some European makes. In our Nissans it's 4300K. The reason why your light output is so weak is probably because your bulbs have gotten weaker. Are they white-ish with a hint of blue, or are they blue and purple? If they're blue and purple, your bulbs are pretty much dead.

What? Yes they are. I used to have OEM HIDs on my Maxima and after many years they just went dim and purple. My the OEM HIDs in my friend's Lexus GS did the same thing. Xenon bulbs eventually get weak - usually after 5-6 years of consistent use.
